Of these I think 2 & 5 are pretty good, but also feel either let it come naturally, or none at all. Or maybe "The Schwartz" from Spaceballs?

I'm still trying to figure out how to work "badassery" into a name.

The Bringers of Badassery is kind of a mouthful.

I don't know. When I hear lake front, I feel like I'm going to a picnic.

When I think Lake Effect, I think of "getting buried" (in snow.) But, lake effecting (or affecting) QBs is more a phrase to describe the D than a name for it, to me.

They've been known as the Dawg Defense since the days of Hanford Dixon and Frank Minnifield. But it wouldn't surprise me for the name to be changed in order to sell more crap to the fans. Better yet, they'll let them do it to themselves by having them vote on it then sell them more merchandise. Same as it ever was.....

lol, yeah, that was kind of my longwinded way of saying we should probably just stick with "Cleveland Browns Defense" as the name, but we can have a lot of fun at the moment describing them.

I'm fine with whatever Jim Donovan calls them.

I used to play that song every time I entered the Muni Lot.

To give them a name, it has to be one that fits who they are

I feel like it is not a good idea to name the defense. Just try to get a win against the next team you play.
given that here are 3 dumb names,

the dumb idea defense, any play called against it, = a dumb idea.

the bugs bunny at every position defense

and the Tyson 23 defense, because like a Mike Tyson fight when he was 23 years old, it is over in the first round.

The defense should be called "Concede"

because for 2 out of 3 games so far the opposing O conceded the game in the 4th

Fast could also describe both time to pressure and how quickly opponents are being forced off the field.

Break is what we've been doing to opponents' wills.

The really good, historic defenses don't need flashy names.. they're just called things like "The '85 Bears" or "The '99 Bucs" and people KNOW.

let's pump the breaks a bit haha ... tackling was shoddy yesterday and we kinda just gave in (and I don't really blame them considering the pathetic offense)
