I don’t think so. It’s not like the Ravens aren’t going to prepare for him. If anything, putting this out there probably increases the likelihood of them blitzing more often. If they know he’s hurting and might have accuracy issues, they’ll try to amplify that by making him hurry. If hurts a wing in the process, s’est la vie. I don’t think that’s in our interest at all, healthy or not.

Being totally honest, I do not have the best feeling about this game.

Hopefully this is an omen that the Browns offense is going to come out "on fire."

So, is Watson not going to play or are we keeping 3 QBs on the active roster?

I think even if he is able to play, since we know he is nursing an injury, it would still be smart to have a third QB active on the roster for game day. I'm not sure that this tells us anything.

We Need to expect an offensive Explosion no matter who @uarterbacks the Browns' offense.

I didn't know about the burn injury to Njoku until 30 minutes ago.
We can set our "days without bad news as a Browns fan clock" back to zero,

someone rolling their million dollar sports car,
Just a ton of staph infections, a couple of dui incidents, the allure of pot, to put it bluntly < take the pun if you want

It's the only way. If he has a gas firepit, most today either have a pilot light or an automatic sparker that creates spark once the gas is turned or.sparker you push to ignite the gas or propane.

You have to be a little dim to put an explosive liquid in to one of those things then stand there with you face over the thing. Your basic charcoal lighter fluid won't blow up that way.

David, playing like your hair is on fire is just a figure of speech. Hand over the matches.

if it's one of those table top alcohol burning firepits, those things are dangerous. One exploded on my BIL a month ago and he sustained third degree burns on his right foot and ankle, and also second degree burns on his left foot. He's still going thru a lot of painful dressing changes and treatment. Last I heard they're still not sure if skin grafts will be needed. He did some research and there have been more than a few instances of people getting severely injured by those things. I don't know if that's what Njoku was using.

Trial by fire. Preseason is not the regular seaaon. Going against the Ravens defense as a rookie with no regular season starts under your belt and the best RB in the league out for the season. Yea, good luck.

Well, in a surprising turn of events, Watson won’t start… and I’m told that Njoku (facial burns) is good to go

I don't think we should expect too much from a rookie QB starting on short notice. If he plays well, then great, but I expect the game to be close and it'll be down the stefanski not to get too cute, not to ask too much and protect the guy., even if he plays well.

The game was always going to be close even with Watson.

Just play it safe and let your defense win it for you. If DTR starts cooking s little, open it up little by little.

This game is still very winnable. It's not like Watson was playing great.
