I think we all need to keep some perspective here. DW hasn’t played in 6 weeks. He was only just getting comfortable with the offense when he got hurt (which he still is).
He needs to get some reps under his belt before we consider him a bust. I realize that he’s had what seems like 3 periods where he was starting from scratch but that’s the reality.
The coach needs to understand this and take advantage of the running game until he’s comfortable. I don’t know why we all knew for weeks that Hunt is our best option to grind out games with the faster/smaller backs as different looks (and he seems to be reverting to those guys more) but that is the way forward.
Coach continues to confound logic.
