since the Watson injury, I've gone back and forth about who we should want to win
Do we want to try to have a miracle and win the division? Then Go Bengals!
Do we want to try to secure a wild card and knock a potential opponent out? Then Go Ravens!
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
I am more concerned the Bengals get hot and go on a streak like they have the past 2 seasons. I would prefer they be out of the picture. But we gain either way.

Since they cant both lose... I'm pulling for the Bengals... to ensure the division stays close... also I think it'd be funny if the whole division made it into the playoffss

If I could ask for one thing I’d ask for the ravens luck

Baltimore lucks out again . They pretty much have the division on lock now. It’s theirs to lose

Browns - Ravens tied in loss column and Bengals play Steelers next week... im pulling for this week Browns > Steelers and next week Bengals > Steelers ... this game tonight low importance on tiebreakers

Not sure what you're watching. He’s fine and they just waltzed down the field to go up 21-10.
This game is cooked and we’re looking up at the rats even if we pull off a miracle against the stoolers.

He is playing with a 1st half ankle injury. He is playing through it...SMH!
DID YOU SEE THE LIMPING ON THAT LAST DRIVE????????????????????????????????
Limping?
That’s not how you determine whether an NFL player is too hurt to produce. That slimey qb d bag has been doing all the same crap he always does - move the ball and win games - regardless of whether he’s limping.
Jim Brown limped in every game he ever played. Lol.
Something's really wrong with that hand. The way that pinky was hanging awkwardly when he was walking in the tunnel, there must be some tendon/ligament damage.

I visit the Bengals message boards relatively frequently, and after Watson was ruled out for the year, I was curious if they felt it was a significant boost to their playoff chances. The 3rd post was a meme of Jerry Seinfeld with the caption "eh, that's a shame" while he was looking quite disinterested. I thought it was pretty classless.
This morning, I went over to see if anyone knew the extent of Burrow's injuries. Whole lot of complaining about classless Ravens fans happy Joe was hurt. Karma can be a real bear.
BTW, while there I notice that their HC, DC, OC FO and owner are all morons just like ours. They also mentioned calling Tom Brady.
well, this Sunday is a MASSIVE game for playoff implications for both teams. If we win, it really puts us in a great spot

I'm guessing Burrow somehow tweaked one of his tendons/ligaments before the game and had the brace on for that reason and the throw may have ended in a full "snap" based on his expression. Looks like the Bengals are being investigated now as to why Burrow wasn't on the injury report when he shows up to the game in a brace.

I would too, though it looks like the Jets O has no shot

I feel sorry for Baker. Purdy had a perfect game, Baker balled out but came up way short. IMO, the Bucs win that easy if the skill players catch the damn ball. We saw that a lot in our own game today.
alright, the rams got a win scoring less than 23 today, so the Browns can be mathematically set up to beat the rams in two weeks and uhh Cooper Kupp went out with an ankle.
The Chargers got their 6th loss on the season today.
Hopefully the Browns can find @uarterback play.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

There is a rule of 23, i'll call it, a pattern noticed which holds/ has held up, mainly, over the past 2 years, which simply, That the number of times a team scores 23 or more points in an NFL game, in a win or loss or tie...
will begin to = the number of wins the team has, and by that one would hope that all the teams on their upcoming schedule
would win a game while scoring less than 23, which is what I hope denver does today, making them due for a future loss
Which sadly the Browns did today. win scoring only I3.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
Best case scenario denver wins I8 to seventeen... What am I saying, the best case scenario is the Vikings beat the Broncos today, and the Browns pummel, or smother the Broncos on the road next week.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
Suddenly the Broncos game is a big one .. they are 5-5 and are much alive. I was hoping they'd be 3-7 or whatever, but alas
I expect another 13-10 type game
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
I guess a game about one of the biggest rivalries in football who have two of the best records currently in the NFL with a last second winning kick isnt that important
remember when Payton was catching all that BS in the beginning of the year because they didn't look like immediate super bowl contenders... He's got them playing really well

MG should have a field day in Denver. Denver’s QB is highly sackable especially if the DB can shut down the screens and dump offs. And their defense isn’t as strong as the Steelers. Plus the FG range is longer which should help us put up more points.

AFC football is crazy right now. If the chiefs lose, that’s 5 teams in our conference with 7-3, Baltimore with 8 wins not having a bye yet. All of us are in play for that 1st round bye.
Talk about a horse race. I’m an eagles fan tonight

Chiefs and Eagles defenses are playing really hard tonight ... playoff type game

Chiefs are trailing now ... Philly just had a great drive to lead it 21-17

Sure seems like there are a lot of Defense lined up over the ball pentalties this season
yes ... and hands to the face stuff. You can tell what they want to emphasize

Man, the chief’s receivers absolutely failed mahomes tonight. He was dropping absolute dimes, and just one drop after the next from every receiver.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
It's malpractice to make Mahomes play with this junk receiver group. Travis Kelce was a turd tonight as well. Mind preoccupied with TS down in Rio de Janeiro!
IMO the Chiefs are a very flawed offensive team ... they basically need Mahomes and Kelce to carry them, and I can finally see the age on Kelce this season
They won't win the AFC.

This is great news for us.
Assuming we get in the playoffs the only team I would fear is KC because of Mahomes. But they look beatable with our D.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I agree ... getting into the playoffs is half the battle.
- We've already proven to beat Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Both would be challenges, but we'd have a good shot - Buffalo is dangerous, but not consistent, turnover prone, can't run it, and has injuries on D - Miami is LIGHTNING on offense. That's the team our defense would be really stressed. - Jacksonville and Houston are a bit flawed in that they can't run very well, but have good passing games
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
With KC's loss, the Browns are tied for 2nd most wins in AFC with 3 other teams, second only by 1/2 game to Baltimore. We just have to keep winning and hope teh Ravens lose one more than us.
we have three massive/difficult games left: at Denver, vs Jacksonville, and at Houston
IMO, winning 2 of them gives us a decent shot at winning the division

Kelce played a really poor game by his standards ... dropped 2 passes, fumble in the red zone, missed 2 key blocks that were pointed out

remember when Payton was catching all that BS in the beginning of the year because they didn't look like immediate super bowl contenders... He's got them playing really well
He was catching the BS because he was bashing the previous coach, then started 0-3, including a blowout loss where they gave up 70 points. The criticism was deserved.
He certainly got the team to keep playing rather then give up on the season. I'll give him credit for that. Just before the trade deadline there were rumors circulating they were going to try and get rid of Wilson and go into rebuilding mode.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!
