Colorado voters killed Prop HH, but state Democrats could keep parts of it alive in special session

Prop HH failed in Colorado(a convoluted plan to deal with 40-50% property tax increases many people saw this year). Seems democrats don't care about the will of the voters either.

I may not get the entire picture here but from reading the first half of the article, it sounds like they are just trying to find a way to help those hurting. Idk, but I can’t fault them for that. And it also didn’t sound like they were republicans shoving their minority beliefs on people… It sounds like they are going to salvage or attempt to salvage the parts that would truly help people regardless of party or wealth. I can see why you would be outraged by that…

You know what, I think RED states should be allowed to impose whatever they want on abortion if the people are with them. But the people are not with them.

I also think any locality that imposes forced birth should establish a tax based fund to care for each of those children to the age of eighteen, 200K a kid should suffice. Let those GOPers that are hell bent on controlling a woman’s choice pay for the mess they are creating in advance. And those taxes should be levied at the local and state level only with ZERO help from blue states. Yep, a decade of that and the abortion fascists would fade.
