I don't think the Steelers are going with Pickett next year. Expect them to trade for either Justin Fields or Russell Wilson.

You could be right, although I don't recall them ever really trading for those key big time positions. That being said, Wilson would be an immediate upgrade, and I wouldn't be shocked if they could give Fields the help he never really had.

Fields would be my choice if I was a team in need of a QB (ATL, TEN, PIT, LV come to mind)

Baltimore losing McDonald to Seattle and Wilson to Tennessee are pretty big losses to their defense. It'll be interesting to see how they replace them.

It won't surprise me if Baltimore interviews Cleveland's defensive backs coach Brandon Lynch.

The Titans interviewed Brandon Lynch before hiring Dennard Wilson as their DC.

I agree. I'd sell the pick for as much as I could get

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

BB might be better off waiting until next year anyway. I'm sure there will be HC openings next season and some may be better options than this year. Also, listening to local sports radio, AVP's hiring hasn't been too popular right off here in New England.

Or it could be that no team that has the future in mind wants to hire a 71 or 72 year old HC with which to build a new foundation on. I know I would want to hire a HC with the long term future in mind not a short term, temporary band aid. The hands of time catches up with us all eventually.

That's true Pit but If Dallas and the Jets get off to a rough start next year BB could be considered because those teams have talent and are built to win now. Their owners might want a short-term fix.

Anything is possible I suppose. I'm not so sure however that BB would want to take over a team in the middle of a losing season that way and when it comes to Dallas I still find it hard to believe that the egos of both BB and Jones could co-exist. BB has always been both the HC and GM of the Patriots. He seems to have the philosophy that the one making the meal should decide on the ingredients. By contrast Jones seems to have the philosophy that he writes the checks and pays the bills so he should be the decider. Not saying it would be impossible for those two philosophies to find some middle ground. I just think that would be a very difficult marriage. At their respective ages I think it would be a very difficult change for either one of them to make.

JJ and BB might end up needing one another short term. BB to coach again, JJ for one last Super Bowl try. I'm just speculating but it is possible. Dallas does have a lot of talent. Ready-made for BB. Both parties may have to bend a little though.

It seems like Bill will take a year off and resurface in 2025 ... Saints, Bears, Giants, Jets, Bills come to mind
