I'm posting this a bit early at 12:57 am but wanted to get a jump on it for all of the posters later today.

I know Christmas isn't all about the gifts, but did you receive something you really liked?
I'll let you know about mine a little later obviously. I have yet to open anything, I am up late to make sure Santa comes tonight.

Well Sunday I opened the gifts from my mother-in-law, and tonight we had Christmas Eve at our house for my mom's side of the family so I opened all the gifts from my mom, sister, brother, our gift exchange gift and a gift of money from my grandparents. Tomorrow is for me, the wife and kid, then her dad's house, and lastly my dad and grandma. So I still have quite a bit left. But so far....

So far, I'd have to say easily my favorite gift came from my brother and sister who combined for it.

It was a Clevelad Browns cornhole set for tailgating! We can stop tossing the football around next season and start tossin' the bean bags!

I have a gift under the tree that looks like it could be Guitar Hero III.

I'm 34, (so why am I still messing around with video games?) I used to play in a band, so I can still get my kicks doing that. But I picked it up and it feels too heavy for that. I'm stumped.

I'm no video game nut. I'm currently playing Madden in franchise mode.

Madden '05!
I'm 5-0. Garcia, Green and Andre Davis are working it!!!

Well.. my family has zero patience and decided to open ours on Christmas Eve... haha it works for us. This Christmas was a bit awkward with the parents divorcing and my grandma being up here for it, but we're still tight enough as a family so I'm okay with it. Favorite gift of all was what my dad gave me... a web camera so I can talk to him when he moves all the way to Florida the 29th... that way I can keep in touch and not really lose him

Other than that I have no problem getting nice gift cards and a lil bit of money to go with my family... Merry Christmas to all!

My favorite gift was $100 from my parents. Usually I get a little more from the rest of my family. But, my sister really can't stand me. So, this year she gave me nothing. I'll just have to save up my $100 and eventually as I save up other money I get I'll be able to buy myself ... something.

Got that for my nephew. I thought he already had a Playstation 2. But, he has a regular Playstation. His father is getting him a Playstation 2 for Christmas. I think the gifts should have gone the other way around.....

Because now, it's painfully obvious what "Santa" is getting him for Christmas

I have two brothers and for the last couple years we decided to not get each other anything. It just gets to be too expensive especially that we are in our 30's and nieces and nephews are popping out everywhere. Along with the high cost of doing anything nowadays.

As long as the kids are taken care of, that's all we care about anyways.

Yep, I received a furry wake up this morning by my cats. They had given me the present of cleaning up their cat food (dry) because they decided to get rowdy during the night and flipped the bowl over.

The second best gift of today is a 9 hour work day

Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!

Chris gave me a set of Browns CD's...vintage games...Browns/Steelers opener 1989, Browns/Falcons playoff clinch, and the Browns/Packers...Dave Logan game .

Katie gave me a set of Port sipping glasses, and Brian gave me a gift card to Sportsman Warehouse.

Well, since I haven't seen most of my family yet...I've only opened the gifts from my in-laws (nothing exciting) and the one gift from the hubby. One of the best gifts ever!

It's a necklace with 3 small diamonds (to symbolize him, me and our baby) and a largish aquamarine (will be our baby's birthstone). It's beautiful! I was planning on wearing green today, but I'll switch it to black so I can wear my new necklace to show off to my family later today.

Got a temperature controlled 12-bottle wine cellar from my girlfriend, which is what I needed.

On the small side, one of my favorite gifts was from my sister, a simple t-shirt from my favorite bar in Chicago, Pippen's Tavern.

Good deal man...I have one for 48 bottles, and really need another smaller unit. Luckv for me, I have a spot in the basement that works out pretty well for intermediate storage....say under 5 years for storage...the temp isn't ideal...can push up into the high 60s in the summer, but nothing that is going to really hurt anything over 4-5 years.

Sounds like a great gift!!!

Didn't know you enjoyed the world of wine....maybe we will have to get a thread going once in a while.....I have in the past, but not many replied.....Pete314 enjoys wine.

Well, here's a picture of a similar necklace. Mine's slightly different, but it's the same idea. Three diamonds and a pear shaped aquamarine on a white gold chain.

I got a gift certificate to the tattoo place I go to get my Browns tattoo done. I got an authentic BQ jersey (Just in time after how Anderson played Sunday, but that's for a different thread lol), a Josh Beckett jersey and an Andre Woodson autographed football. A few other things, but those were my favorites.

Knives are great....I got a great chef's knife last year.

I bought my wife a Bose Wave CD player with a ipod port...she seems to like it.

Now I have a list of 50 songs to buy and load on the ipod she also got.

My wife bought me another Uncle John's Bathroom Reader, which makes me happy. I love useless knowledge!

I also got a lot of gift cards, which I love getting.

My wife and I didn't buy each other a lot since we're essentially buying each other a house. But I don't mind one bit. It's been nice to just spend time with her and our families over these past few days.

Nice, you'll have to jump online with some of us. Any good games?

So far I'd have to say my favorite 2 gifts were my Browns cornhole set from my borther and sister, and a calendar from my wife and daughter that has pictures of my daughter each month on it correlating with the month. Great unique gift!

The best gift I received was from my son. It was a Brady Quinn action figure. The question is, do I take it out of the box and have it next to my computer, or do I keep it in the box and hope the value goes up? Merry Christmas all!

Take it out and let him see you use it.

If you think something like that will increase in value...what could it be worth some day....$100??? Big deal..showing your kid you like the gift is worth more than that.

My best gift was having the kids arrive at my place last night, having a good chinese dinner, play a few board games that are interactive on the DVD, then settle down and watch the movie Hildago.. wait till they went to sleep then put the Santa hat on...

The fun part is just watching them open their gifts

Hope everyone got what they wanted.. mine will have to wait till next week.. Go Browns, Go Colts!
