Five days ago Chicago became the largest U.S. city to officially call for a cease fire in Gaza.

In response and to show their appreciation, Gaza officially called for a cease fire in Chicago.

I'm worried the debates this fall will be a complete back-and-forth of incoherence.

I can take a lot of jokes, but what Carlson is doing is among the worst I’ve seen in recent memory. The guy was already despicable and he found a new, gaslighting layer of disinformation…and the interview hasn’t even been aired yet. Just the preview was bad enough. The man might be the worst person in society.

Also, he’s not a journalist. His legal counsel pretty much admitted that in litigation.

Ah, now Pit has somehow seen the interview. If we all had his intellect (and crystal ball) the world would be a much better place!

All it takes is an ounce of common sense. The GOP are lining up to block Ukraine defense funding and Tucker has always been their mouthpiece. I thought even you could do the basic math on this one. Either you lack that ability or are in denial. Neither one of those is attractive.

I think the real rub is that on Super Bowl weekend, normally an interview with the POTUS is aired.

It's just a bit weird that we are getting Tuckers interview with Putin as the alternative.

Well, you have a president that is not even trusted to take softball questions like "how do you like your wings?" A chance to show 100M in the US and 800M around the world that he is competent in the most gracious of terms... "nope". Pretty much says it all.

Any true and brave red blooded American would do the world a favor and choke Putin to death with their bare hands if they were to meet face to face.

Let me tell you a little story to show you just how moronic you sound here. Bill and Sam live two doors down from each other. Each morning they both come out on their front porch to read their newspapers and each day when the mailman runs they witness the dog in the house between them chase and try to bite that mailman. They witness this same event day after day, week after week and month after month. One day Bill says to Sam. "You know Sam, that mailman is going to walk through that same gate in the morning and that same dog is going to try and bite him again."

And Sam looks at Bill and says, "How can you know that? Tomorrow isn't even here yet. Do you think you have some crystal ball?"

And of course we both know that since that same dog follows that same pattern day after day, Sam sounds like a moron. Anything else Sam?

Day after day, week after week and month after month, Tucker has been the mouthpiece to block Ukraine funding?

I think the real moral of this story is that Bill and Sam are reading the wrong newspaper. And Bill and Sam think only they are capable of adult thoughts and reaching their own conclusions. Seems like many like Bill and Sam are in favor of a nanny state where only one wing of the government decides the fate of all these virgin ears.

The preview alone says it all. Putin has denied interviews with every other major news outlet and Carlson has already been parroted on Russian STATE TELEVISION (man, where have I seen that phrase used on this board before??). Why do you think he’s letting Tucker interview him?

He is a boogeyman. He is absolutely a boogeyman and it should not be downplayed. He has spread horrific misinformation and gaslighting for a long time now and it infiltrated the minds of those who either cant or don’t want to think critically and confront facts as they are.

He’s already been an apologist for a blatant human rights abuser who has a warrant out for his arrest, tipped his hand in his preview, and will damn well be an apologist for him in the interview when it comes out.

I think Carlson is more dangerous to our society than Trump. Because he’s smarter. I don’t know what his angle is, but something about his whole stance on Russia along with many others in the MAGA circuit stinks to high Heaven.

I try to remain objective on most things, but I will absolutely die on this hill. I really cannot understate this point enough. I really think when history books discuss the decline of America, Carlson will be in there. The apologist for America’s second largest adversary, the leader of which would absolutely seek to supplant everything our society and principles stand for at their core.

I guess he missed that Bill and Sam weren't talking about what was in the newspaper. They were talking about what they had witnessed the dog doing over and over again for a lomg period of time.
