From my understanding no matter what he will collect $39 from the Broncos.

He could sign for the vet minimum.

Wilson IMO will go where he has a chance to start. Money is not really a factor other than he will be cheap. If he wants to play money should not impact where he goes.

He is an NFL starter. His best bet is to go somewhere where he will be a bridge to a drafted rookie not ready to start. Giants might be a good place. Maybe the Falcons.

New England could be a good fit.

I have no real insight about Wilson as a team leader. I don't speculate about players'personalities. As a player he is at least in the top thirty of quarterbacks at this point.

He is not a future franchise guy. He is a bridge starter for a year or so.

I definitely like that there will be talent available at the safety position. I don't believe we were bad enough at safety as nothing really sticks out in my mind, but I wouldn't mind grabbing a talented center-fielder type. Those guys can be hard to find. As is with many of the position groups, we'd also benefit from upping the talent level of our depth.

Not sure how much money we'll have to throw at the secondary, though. We have a lot of work to do at many other positions.

Report: Mitch Trubisky agreed to two-year, $5.25 million deal with Bills

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profo...to-two-year-5-25-million-deal-with-bills

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Saw this on TV yesterday when they were discussing why the Bears payed Jaylon Johnson all that money.

that's a massive deal ... we won't sniff Wilkns for that cost

Obviously Ward's play here has been wonderful (when healthy) but Emerson, considering his draft position, had been an amazing value pick. And it's probably a reason why there is some smoke around a Newsome trade. The Browns see Newsome as a nickel CB and I'm guessing won't extend him while allocating the other starting CB money alongside Ward towards an Emerson extension.

I'm not sure but I think the Browns need to make a choice on whether or not they will pick up Newsome's fifth year option sometime this year, no? That might play a part.

I agree, Emerson has been a great player even had he been a first round choice, Glad we were fortunate to get him in the 3rd

Good for Bake

Mayfield confirmed multiple reports that he and the Buccaneers are close to finalizing a new contract. The quarterback’s deal will be for three years and will reportedly be worth $100 million with $50 million in guaranteed money and another $15 million available in incentives.

Here's to hoping that Myles and Zadarius give him a nice, hearty welcome to the AFCN.

I'm hoping we take a look at Erik Armstead....providing his price isn't too absurd.

I'm really surprised he was just made available. He will probably cost a ton but I'm guessing not as much as Wilkins.

The #Bears are expected to sign former #Eagles starting RB D’Andre Swift as their new starting running back, per me and
@MikeGarafolo
.

He gets a 3-year, $24M deal.
