I don't know. His production fell off last year even though he did gain over 4 yards per carry. He also missed 6 games last year. His TD totals were 2 rushing and only 1 receiving. I certainly do believe the Browns are looking at RB's though.

Seems like a lot for a guy who has done very little in his career until the second half of the season in 2023. Then again.....I have to remind myself of the +$30MM added on the cap ceiling.

WR - Davis was someone I was interested, but not for that price tag. Isaiah McKenzie might be a low cost option.

I know he's had some ACL surgeries, i would be interested in JK Dobbins depending on his medicals and if he's willing to take a super cheap 1-year deal.

I am interested in seeing what we do with that second TE spot. My initial thought was Noah Fant. However, after doing a little thinking I am sure he is out of our budget.

Most our budget should be focused on two areas you named: DE and DT. There are a couple excellent lower tier DT options that provide solid pass rushing % in a rotational role for a lot cheaper. Just like we did last year with Harris and Hurst.

K. Mack might be an end option either through a trade or being released by the Chargers.

I'd have to think IF the Browns don't plan to extend Newsome, they'll try and get something from him....whether now or at the trade deadline. I know Detroit was the rumored team but there might be another interested party.

Not sure how much gas is in the tank but it could be a decent value compared to some of the other RB signings today.
