I've never advocated for guns to be outlawed or banned. I also haven't advocated guns should be permitted to expend rounds in the same style of an automatic weapon which can only lead to more corpses at mass shootings. Unfortunately for you, you left a receipt.

I took responsibility. When someone points out a single error when several times it has been made clear that wasn't what was intended and have tried to make the issue that the exception is the rule it's something everyone can see. People understand what that is. How is admitting I accidentally made a mistake in a single instance not admitting to that mistake? Here's a newsflash for you. It isn't.

Your empty rhetoric about a bump stock not being a machine gun will never change the fact that it makes a semi automatic rifles expend rounds at a much faster rate which will lead to and has led to a much higher casualty count which you support. In effect it causes semi automatic rifles to perform at a rate very close to some machine guns. Someone creating a device that takes advantage of a loophole in the law is easily seen by many but excused by some. In case you're confused you are a portion of the some.

I never denied that bump stocks help with faster fire. They still do not meet the statutory definition of machine gun. Nope, not now either... and still no.

And when did I say they were machine guns? I didn't. Nobody is raging here but the one who keeps supporting people have the legal ability to increase the carnage and body count through legal means by using a legal loophole.

I have no reason to panic. I have always found it to be more productive to prepare rather than panic. I have several weapons to which a bump stock is applicable. Now that it's obvious that every nut job can have one I will be sure to be prepared in kind. With all the people now calling for a civil war and even at trumps's rally a person like Bannon saying "Victory or death!" I'll be sure I'm never outgunned. That's always been my motto. "Prepare for the worst while hoping for the best."

In past times I was more of the belief that if anyone was to try and take over society it would be the government. Now I find it far more believable that if any such thing occurs it will be one political party trying to take over the government.

You have equated them to machine guns as they should be just as illegal as machine guns. Your implication is they are machine guns. You never explicitly said "they are machine guns", or in your more often used phrase "automatic weapons".

I have told you what I'm stating. Making something perform similar to a machine gun is nothing more than circumventing the law. I have never been panicked by extremists or their views. I've always simply been prepared for them. My dad was a Master Sergeant in the Army. The only difference is that he had common sense on such matters. But I was raised from an early age never to panic but to always be prepared. Which I am.

I'm always ready to defend my family and home. Being dumb enough to be outgunned through legal means is not in my DNA. I would have much preferred they remain illegal so there would be no need to have the ability to match that firepower if needed. But you got your way and now rifles that have very similar firepower to a machine gun are legal via a device.

I'm sure you would prefer people such as myself not own these or have these. I know how much you hate others using the same advantages as yourself. But don't blame me for the position people of your ilk have put me. You like the rules as they have been set. I'm simply following them.

I've never once made a claim to hate others being able to be armed. If you are free to walk around in public you should be free to be armed. If you aren't safe enough to be armed you aren't safe enough to be in public.

Everyone who has not been convicted of a felony in my state can be armed in Public. No safety course needed. Just buy a gun, step out of the gun store, load your weapon and strap it on. It's like an apprenticeship program. "No experience needed. Hired on the spot with few questions asked". Murica!

I didn't serve in the military. neither did you. So your dad being anything is totally irrelevant.

As far as shooting for pleasure, or at varmints, I'd put myself, my son, OR my daughter up against you anyday. No military training for any of us - including you.

So you don't think a man who trained soldiers instilled his values and skills in his children? You think he had training that most people that have never been in the military don't? Not only in terms of firearm training but in preparidness as well? Or is that that you just don't think?

I've been target shooting and hunting for well over 50 years. Why you felt some unsolicited need to claim your children are better shots than I am says a lot. I find it sad that you think being trained by a former Master Sergeant who trained troops to go into battle causes you to think when he trained me that isn't something you find to be at least very close to military firearms training. I thought you had great respect for veterans and the time they served? Hmmmmm.....
