We kept a QB because we knew they have value to other teams and we need OL depth. We released Foreman because we’re relative sure he has little value to other teams and will still be there when the final dump happens. I don’t expect we’ll start the season with 2 RB’s. This is a chess game like every other. Teams hold cards, throw cards, and wait for the shakeout over the next few days. Has less to do with the players actually, more just value and leverage. I would expect we’re looking at other teams that are doing the same sorts of card holding and looking to trade in the next week. I hope so anyway. Our OL worries me a lot.

We’re a team that needs all the rah rah, team glue guys it can get. He’s the best backup of course but also brings those positive locker room vibes we desperately need down the stretch. I hope we keep him.
