Hey!!!!!

If anyone starts the annual challenges let me/us know. Where it's located, how to sign up, etc, etc, etc.

Had some "medical issues" last year at the time and the challenges became somewhat of a no go.

As I recall, on one challenge my name was "Fred Smoot" and the other was "Arnold Ziffel".

As an fyi I received my yearly "Pickems" challenge but no signs of the yearly "Survivor" challenge as of yet.

Can somebody share the pickems link. No idea why I don’t have it. I’m in on the survivor pool.

The draft order will be picked by the computer 30 minutes before the draft.

It might be showing up as closed and asking for a password for me.

As of now it just takes you to the lobby of the pool because I don't think the actual picks are available yet. Usually every year Hooper comes here and posts the information well before the picks need to be made. I feel pretty sure he will do that again this year.

No problem. Hooper usually comes on the board to provide not only the links for those of us that have been playing but also extends an invitation to those that want to join.

Looks like Punchsmack is the only manager of this league. He hasn't been here in over three years.

Survivor Pool is active, Pick 'ems is not. I went to the help section and noticed there were several changes made to pick 'em pools. My only guess is that maybe the manager has to acknowledge those changes before the pool is made active again?

If anyone knows Punch, hit him up and tell him to log-in and check his manager notices.

There is a game tomorrow and a game Friday. No big deal if we all take losses, I guess, but we definitely need to crack this case before Sunday.

Hooper always ran the pickums. At least from the beginning through last season. I'll message him on FB.

Couple things...

Got an email reminding me to make my picks titled 🏈 Two Days Left to Make Your Picks 🏈


Showed two pools:

"Dawgtalkers Survivor Pool" with a clickable button "Visit Pool"

"closed" with a clickable button "Visit Pool"


When I clicked to visit "closed" it asked for a password.

I went back to old threads and saw that Hooper advised someone having problems that there was a password years ago... "kelly"

I typed in kelly as the password and it let me in.


In this pool, Hooper is the manager and he is the only other person listed besides myself. The pool also displayed my real name. The pool displayed Hooper's name as "Sorry We Are"

So, the pools name is "closed" and Hooper's name is "Sorry We Are" -- I'm guessing Hooper doesn't want to do the pool anymore. Take that for what it's worth, but if you have that email you can get in. 👍

Since I had a direct link to the pool already I deleted that email. I sent Hooper a message on FB but he hasn't been on FB since August 22.

If you want to change your username drop down "settings" and click on "my entry"





Now we have a league with (maybe) no manager. If someone wants to check on Hooper he can turn over credentials if he wants to be done with it.

I'm currently waiting on a reply from him unless someone that reads this has a more direct or quicker way to contact him than I do.

I had that link too. But the pickems desn’t show in my pools, just survivor. Maybe I was uninvited.

To reply not only to you but to update my communication with Hooper. Like some of you have commented on, Hooper messaged me on FB and told me too many rules had been changed so he closed his team.

See if he'll login and transfer, or add, a manager... incase we run into problems.

Okay, so I asked him exactly what you posed and he answered. While I certainly didn't request it to be me and certainly don't want it to be me, he responded saying he handed it over to me.

So I suppose I'll try to figure it all out and if anyone would like to take my place please let me know. Please.....

I renamed the pool to Dawgtalkers Pickum Pool.

Otherwise I left everything as it was before.

Awesome. I'm sure you have this under control, so I second his appointment.

He really didn't hang out much here, so it will be good to have someone who can quickly respond to problems or issues. Thanks for helping us get the wheels back under this bus.

All kinds of things will go wrong with all of the format changes and new rules and we'll just berate you for all of them.
