never a doubt IMO

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yes as the salary cap increases so do the contracts. Just like every other position besides RB it seems.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I like Dak. I think he is a very good QB.

$60m a year? I don't know how that is justified. I guess that is the market.

I am not a guy who studies contracts.

It sure seems like a lot of money for a quarterback who is 2-5 in the playoffs.

Managing the team salaries will require a some good eyes.

Fields may win the job ... if I were Pittsburgh I'd play him either way

I feel the same way but it hasn't seemed like a very popular idea to most. Only one of the two offers a possible long term answer at the QB position and it isn't Wilson.

So Njoku will be gimped up for the next 6 weeks if not to some degree the whole season.

I'd say we won't see David until around week 6-8 now

Steelers have a fairly easy schedule to start ... they will get some footing with Fields

I am baffled by the Bryce Young thing.

Super productive college QB at the one of the top 5 biggest programs in the nation who always performed his best when it mattered most. I don't think that quality can be understated. Carolina is either in the process of ruining him (and they are pretty dysfunctional organization) or his game literally isn't translating. After playing for Alabama on the biggest stage against great competition, this is tough to reconcile.

You can't blame Carolina for taking a shot, similar to the Browns.

Not sure if this applies to the QB position (I watch zero college football), but we've also seen Alabama players in the past that greatly benefited from the stacked bama roster going against the teams they played. Those players then looked pretty pedestrian when they had to carry their own water in the NFL. Trent Richardson comes to mind.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Bryce Young is SUPER small and slight. It's jarring to see him out there.

I know Kyler Murray is small too, but he's very compact and shifty. Young isn't at all

Agree, he looks so young (no pun intended) and out of place. He seems like a guy that needed to sit behind a vet for a year or two and hit the gym and camp out with the QB coach. This is exactly why it’s so dangerous for a high ranking QB to go to a bad team out of college. They just hand you some boots and a rifle and ship you off to the front lines. Good luck kid.

Yep. Young is absolutely tiny. I do not even remotely understand how the Panthers took him over Stroud. I guess I kind of do. It's Carolina and they're terrible.

Young is just another productive college QB that does not translate to the NFL. The list is long.

Best of luck to him. I definitely don't think he's the same version that he was when he left there...

But they did end up signing him to the practice squad.......

Hunt is back with the Chiefs on what will initially be a practice squad agreement, sources told The Star, though the plan is to get him prepared for the active roster sooner rather than later. He will be in a Chiefs uniform. 4 hours ago
