How in God’s name is Issue 1 failing? because it is a poorly written and people in Ohio are not usually dumb.

not surpised he won florida. surprised the abortion and rec weed amendment there failed. I don't know about the weed vote but the abortion bill got 57% of the vote. Florida requires 60%

I very much beg to differ… it's ok for you to be wrong Bro, I don’t know the last time you were right. It all started with your choice of high schools.

Seriously, though, how was it poorly written. I HIGHLY doubt most of the people who voted against it did so because it was poorly written. And honestly, is our current broken system more functional than if we implemented Issue 1. Our districts are horrendous.

And honestly, is our current broken system more functional than if we implemented Issue 1. Our districts are horrendous. if the numbers hold, Moreno is gonna beat Brown in the senate race. issue 1 isnt poorly written, it's just a solid red state and conservatives dont want fair districts. any chance of ohio going back to a purple state is officially over, which is sad.

The Moreno vote baffles me beyond belief. Shifted from no MAGA Senators to two MAGA Senators in two years…

its gonna be interesting, kamala could still get over 270 fairly simple, but the senate and house looks to be going to the GOP

It’s looking like Trump. Twice impeached, convicted felon whose own former cabinet and VP don’t even endorse.
I don’t even recognize this country anymore.

i think the thing that also stands out with how crazy this election is:
Sheehy, the republican in montana who literally lied about being shot during deployment, is probably gonna win the senate race. thats pathetic.

This race is not over ...... but I would suggest that if it turns out how it appears it might, then the Democrats probably want to move back towards the center in the nect election.

pretty much. senate is officially going GOP. if the house stays GOP than hey, conservatives get what they want, like always. even if kamala wins, what can she do that she wont get called a wanna be Queen through executive action? cause congress wont let her do a damn thing.

Kackela is going to lose this election because libtards have forced their extremist policies down our throats for 4 years and the American people have had enough. Your leaders have mismanaged this country severely. The American people have had it with you and your extremist views. The American people have had it with your leaders insulting half the country. The American people don't want your "woke" forced upon us. Nor do we want your lies and fearmongering. The American people see through your extremely biased and unhinged media.
Stare at that map some more. Haha

Yep. Fair. I guess we just gotta brace ourselves. The logic behind it all still astounds me. There’s no way I could ever fathom the rationality of voting for that man, but it is what it is.
I feel for Ukraine.

I feel for Ukraine. well, hope for their sake the GOP doesnt actually come for their medicare or SS. and as much as trump says he wants to leave it up to the states, nobody can credibly rule out the GOP putting abortion on the floor in congress. thats what they want so whatever. lets be clear, the GOP ran on hate and taking away these things, and the american people said yes. oh well.

it's gonna be interesting to observe how the filibuster issue plays out in the senate with GOP control...

Eh! What brings us here? My dad introduced me to the Browns as a fan back in ‘81. -I was 3. I love to think that so much has changed since then, but nothing has changed since then. One day friends, SU-PER-BOWL! SU-PER-BOWL!

The Dow has jumped 800 points in futures tonight! That sounds good to me. LOL - I'll be so much wealthier under Trump from a financial perspective ... but we'll see if there is a cost to that in other areas. Congrats to Trump and his supporters - we'll see what happens. For me it falls under 'careful what you wish for' - and we'll see how much of Project 2025 becomes the basis for this terms policies. Not all of it for sure - but I wouldn't be surprised if 30-50% of it is implemented in some form or another. Also going to see how dangerous or otherwise Musk becomes. Oh - and just listened to the Trump speech and once again Vance sounds more presidential in his 60 seconds to my ears.

It most certainly was an indictment on the political information complex, but it goes much deeper than the cursory examples he used. That stuff he spouted off was nothing. There were FAR bigger issues these past four years (and beyond, frankly) and, unfortunately, don't see that changing anytime soon. But people are finally waking up and getting fed up across all walks of life and we saw that last night by the voter turnout, exit polling, and of course, the presumed results.
