There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
Oddly enough, I have him on my fantasy team and he still had a decent 8 points. I also have Saquon, Josh Jacobs and Cortland Sutton, so those 3 alone ensured me victory.
It's a good fantasy week when Justin Jefferson is your lowest scorer.

yeah Jefferson probably had a career low I'd assume

Without a Browns game to watch on Sunday - I watched the Bucs game off and on. Man it's painful to see Baker play well and get a ton of love from commentators and teammates. Anyone see him out blocking 30 yards downfield for his RB on a 56 yard play? With the awareness to look behind him instead of locking on to the defenders chasing right in front of him?

I’m extremely happy for Baker. His career would have languished in Cleveland. It’s crazy that the Browns last best QB’s were Bernie and Flacco, both from the old Browns.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Thomas Jefferson.
Languished? The last year he was healthy before the season he was playing with an injury for most of the season the Browns went 11-5, made the playoffs, Mayfield threw for 3563 yards with 26 td's and 8 int's. I'm not sure how anyone could consider that "languishing".
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
He himself has said he did a lot of growing up after getting cut by the Panthers and Rams.

Just curious. What do you base your claim he would have regressed had he have stayed in Cleveland? His 2020 stats indicate not only could he play well but could lead the browns to the playoffs. That's the exact same thing he managed to do in Tampa Bay. So how does that mean he's gotten so much better and how does that mean he would have regressed had he remained with the Browns?

Yup, proving the Browns coaching staff and leadership didn’t help him much in that regard.
I don't know any more than you do, so take this FWIW. I got the impression that this wasn't so much a coaching problem as it was Baker had to do a bit of maturing and start acting like a grown-butt man. KS and his staff aren't supposed to be babysitters.

No amount of good leadership can force someone to grow up. Sometimes it comes from hitting rock bottom - look at Cris Carter for instance. Even the best coaches in the league right now have had to cut bait with players not growing up.
That being said, I would gladly go back and undo all the damage from us even sniffing at Watson. What a debacle...

, I agree with this - I am not sure that Baker is the same guy if he stays here. I mean he showed enough during the best of times to be considered a franchise QB talent wise - what was it? 22 straight completitions in a game vs the Bengals, but I think the facing the bottom has helped him grow because he was sometimes his own worse enemy during the bad times and very immature.
" he picked the right team in a bad division." .... seems like a way to dismiss how much his team mates love him and how well he has played no matter who the competition is.

You didn't ... poor choice of words or maybe its the commentary thats on the video and during the game that made me mention them. What would be more accurate to say is that what you wrote dismissed or diminished what BM has achieved with the Bucs. Both in terms of playing the position and the grit and passion he has shown.

I’ll give him credit, he picked the right team in a bad division.
He picked the most difficult situation, taking over for Tom Brady. He had every right to fail, but didn't.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
The Baker you're seeing now is not the same Baker that was here. Talent wise yes but the Baker now has grown UP! That is the big difference. His actions here wore out his welcome.

Tom was in TB for 3 years. Every year the media (and Brady dragging the decision out) talked about if this was the year he would retire. If it was while Brady was in NE, then I would agree.
Baker has played well. I have always loved he gave it his all. He's grown up and has improved some. I am not saying he was bad before, he's always just been inconsistent.
My point was that division is terrible. He picked a good situation.
