So I'm the leader? I must be since you seemed to follow suit. Some of us are just tired of all the BS excuses people come up with for the failure of this FO. You included.

I've been seeing all the rumors going around on the net about us bringing Flacco back... Anyone think it's real? Anyone think it's a good idea? I think he'd be a good mentor and can start until a new young guy gets up to speed..

I think his likely contract works for us, and he would have some credibility in the locker room. Is it real? No idea.
I wouldn't be against bringing in a couple of Joes. Flacco as the "safe" bridge QB. Try to trade for Milton from the Patriots for the upside gamble. I think those two have similar play styles/skill sets and fit what the team did well when we had more success.
If the cost of the QBs in the draft is as high as projected, I'd rather gamble with less draft capital on a trade.

Would really like a QB room to look like this.
Starter - Kirk Cousins Back Up - Joe Flacco or Jacoby Brissett - Competent back up's that know Kevin Stefanski's system and can help mentor a young QB so Cousins can focus on starting. 3rd - Jaxson Dart or Will Howard

Beginning to sound like the FO is going to take Sanders. I don’t think he has the goods to be a franchise QB, but he is Deion’s boy and Deion was a game changer. Probably because DEI is in his name.

If you are hearing it now, it's likely a coordinated leak (no uncoordinated leaks was on the guardrails back when, which implies they do leak things on purpose) or a made up rumor that a click hungry league coverer is running with when not much is going on. It could be end up being true, but I'd lean towards it's more connecting dots from the outside (Cleveland needs a QB and he's a "top" QB) than being told from inside.
Have a hard time believing any decisions are solid before the combine, visits, and free agency.

Happens every year, and the minions believe it and jump all over it and report anything.... true or not.
Great job Berry - saved the team a whopping $1,082,000. I would think Charley will need to be replaced - going to be hard to find a LS for only $1,082,000 though.

Charley got hurt last season and another player is already on the team that was doing the long snapping most of the 2nd half of the season already.

Browns Reportedly Make Decision on Drafting Deshaun Watson Successor NFL Draft expert Todd McShay does not believe the Cleveland Browns will be taking a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick to be the long-term successor for Deshaun Watson.
This draft class is not heavy on quarterback talent. Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders have been dubbed as the top passers in the class, but not everyone is convinced that either could become a franchise quarterback.
The Browns desperately need a solution for their woeful quarterback situation. Watson is expected to miss most, if not all, of next season after re-injuring his Achilles during recovery. But even before the injury, he wasn’t projected to be a significant factor in the team’s quarterback equation.
McShay said he’s spoken with multiple people who have told him the Browns will not go QB with their No. 2 pick.
“I’ve heard from multiple sources: Cleveland… they’re not pulling the trigger on a quarterback,” McShay said on The McShay Show. “They don’t believe that this is the year to do that. That they are not a quarterback in this class away. If it had been last year’s class, they feel really good that they can take off and run.”
Deshaun Watson Trade Disaster for Browns The Browns traded for Watson in 2022, committing to him with a fully guaranteed $230 million contract through 2026. However, Watson has appeared in just 19 games for Cleveland due to injuries and a lengthy suspension stemming from off-field issues. As it stands, he’s set to account for nearly $73 million against the salary cap in each of the next two seasons.
Since Watson took over as the starter, the Browns have posted a 9-10 record, including a disappointing 1-6 this season. During that stretch, Watson has thrown for 3,365 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
His struggles were evident this year before a season-ending Achilles injury, as the offense failed to score more than 20 points in any game. Watson also failed to surpass 200 passing yards in any of his seven starts this season.
Browns Face Harsh Reality of Deshaun Watson Trade Watson’s significant cap hit is something the Browns have needed to work around as they look to construct a contender. And the team has to do so in a hurry, with superstar pass-rusher Myles Garrett demanding a trade.
The Browns are coming off a dismal 3-14 season, a setback that fueled trade speculation around Garrett. The All-Pro pass-rusher hinted at a potential trade request as the season wrapped up, signaling his frustration. Garrett wants to play for a contender and does not feel like the Browns are set up for success. He’s willing to do “whatever it takes” to force a trade.
“I’m willing to do whatever it takes,” Garrett said. “I want to have a chance to win those big games, to go out there and compete, to elevate a team as a player, as a teammate, as a leader, and just come in and have an immediate effect.”
The Browns have remained firm that Garrett — under contract through the 2026 season — will not be moved. But if Garrett is willing to play hardball and miss games, it could force Cleveland’s hand.
As far as the other we shall see Will we take a Qb at 2? Draft another position at 2? Trade UP ? Trade Down? Take Any QB? Take more than 1 QB?
FACT nobody knows right now.
All the other crap is just that crap. Peoples guesses, rumors, rumors started by NFL front offices, or should we just call that what it is. Mis information put out there by a NFL team to throw people off what they really want to do, and that bro happens every day in the NFL. I know folks who have done that and sat back and laughed when the reporters jumped all over it.

Every time the salary cap increases so do the salaries. Just in case people forgot how this works.

They both hired new HC's this year making Stefanski the lowest rated active HC with a ranking in the entire NFL as rated by his players entering 2025 season. Digest that for a moment!
Bring in a bridge QB take the DE at 2 or trade down. Then grab Will Howard in the second/third. I saw QC’s video on him and I think he looks like Big Ben stature wise. He can make the throws. Needs a lot of work, but he may be a viable starter in a couple years. And even if he doesn’t pan out as starter, I could see him being a damn fine back-up.
I would love Chubb to continue playing football with the Browns. Pair him up for a few years with a young back and let that young back learn from Chubb even if the young back becomes the top back sooner than later. Chubb has been a positive influence on the Browns from day 1 and the team needs more players like him in the locker room. Builds culture!

I'm not sure why you think any NFL team pays players more than they have to in order to keep them on the team. I have no idea what's going on with him health wise. It is possible he comes back back to the same form he did before the injury. It's also possible he may never be the same again. I don't see how allowing the rest of the league to establish his market value as being cheap. I would also conclude if anyone knows about his recovery and the odds of success for him to return to his former self on the filed it would be the browns medical staff. I think their approach to this is smart and good business. And that's something I don't say about them very often.
