In front of friends, family, and strangers.

I wish I'd lived a life that could occupy 11:37 so well.
But that would have required me to make many different different choices, in each step of life.

I haven't earned the same 11:37.

I'm just a humble American citizen- from humble American roots.

A life well lived. An example of what we should all aspire to be. He lived by example. Something that can be said about very few.

I find it hard to fault a man who did so much for so many. Carter was the last of a dying breed; an honest politician.

There is NO doubt he was a good person.

I cannot think of another politician has/had as much compassion for ALL people. Hate, insults and belittling are looked as as desirable traits in this day and age.

What a wonderful eulogy and brilliantly delivered by his grandson. funny, poingniant, grounded. Different era and yes, all class and compassion.
