Pacers are a high flying team. It will be a fun, entertaining series. Cavs in 7

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Pacers were the one team I didn’t want but truth be told, if we can’t take care them in 5 or 6 it doesn’t bode well Boston, let alone OKC. So it’s a good test. Gonna put our defense to the test.

Nice
This is really nice match up
That said if Mobley balls out this is going to be short series
That run in gun shortfall is bigs dominating the rim if Mobley or Allen shoot
70 percent they can try running but remember we get are regulars more rest
That’s makes very difficult in the 4th quarter for pacers
Cavs in 5.

We need Garland. We can handle them, but not the way we went after them. And this was at home. We need to put more pain in the paint. We didn't use our two bigs enough. And we need to switch off being three-point snipers to something more effective. We missed a bunch, lost rebounds on many. We need to run away more or slow and shorten the game. Our posts must produce points or draw fouls. Need a different go on Tuesday. .02

So far the #1 Cavs and #2Celtics in the East have lost, and the #1 Thunder in the West have also lost.

That's just crazy.

I'm not sure I've seen such and absolute choke job and melt down in the final seconds like that. Absolutely vomit inducing.

Typical Cleveland choke job.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

Terrible, would say this was worse than "The Shot" if that wasn't an elimination game.

Thought we were gonna pull off the unthinkable tonight, and then reality popped up and smacked me in the face.

Can't sleep, feeling sick.

Hard to win when you can't even get an inbounds pass.

Boston choking away another 20pt and the Tatum turnover to end the game brought a smile to my face.

Still, no home team has won a game in the 2nd round. OKC could end that streak.

Great to seem them pound the Pacers (I think Pound Pacers signs once littered Gund Arena back in the early years of Bron Bron) in their house with the Cavs at full strength.

Go win this thing in 6!

I despise Mathurin. My disdain for him is that of a smiling Hines Ward that you want to see get his block knocked off. He's also, the kind of guy you love if he's on your team. The perfect villain.

#1 seed in the East - yea! Coach of the Year - yea! What does it amount to? Zero. If you don't win the last game of the season, nobody gives a. Only in Cleveland. SMH

Punishment watching it tonight, Pretty indifferent play out of a number of people. Losing Mitchell didn't help, but the rotations did not work. We quit.

I will watch tonight, and root the Cavs, but it feels more like a mercy watch out of loyalty than it does eager enthusiasm. Hoping to see more from some of our folks than I did in Indiana. We insisted on a huge loss it seemed. Better luck tonight.

This might be one of the most Cleveland "pooped the bed" moments ever. The team is not mentally tough enough for the rigors of the playoffs. Absolutely wilted.

Cannot run back this same squad again. Allen is the first guy I'm looking to move.

I want to vomit.

The Cavs are kinda like the Browns. A lot of hype before the playoffs
And yet they show their true colors and fail to finish
The playoffs are about finding another gear or another level
Of physicality in some cases .
The Cavs have been a finesse team for ages.
The Cavs got gift wrapped a injury to Tatum .
The Celtics aren't gonna repeat as EC champs .
Yet they couldn't capitalize.
Maybe Atkinson and Stefanski can go to a bar and talk
About their COTY awards and realize they don't matter

We've been through this plenty of times now, get all hyped up for nothing.

The disappointment use to bother me, sadly it does not anymore. It was still a good season, but no need to sugar coat anything, a lot more was expected and this is a major letdown again from this group. They just can't handle the physicality and intensity of the playoffs. They are regular season darlings and nothing more.

Pretty much agree with this take. We just aren’t a playoff-tough team. I think we have a lot of heart and I love the individuals but as a group, but we’re mentally and emotionally fragile. Period. There isn’t a Halliburton, playground bully type anywhere on the team.

With Indiana, and I’d say OKC and the Celtics, there’s a “no lead is safe” aspect to their play, a never say die aspect of their teams that comes from a pure playground bully mindset. There’s one guy on each of those teams that mindset springs from. We just don’t have that.

Mitchel is awesome obviously but as much as he says he does I don’t think he really trusts his teammates to have his back consistently, so he can’t really bully out. We’ve had some comeback wins, we’ve had blowout wins. But those teams by and large have to capitulate. If they don’t, if they consistently stand up to us and don’t fold, eventually there’s a very good chance we will.

Where did Allen go this series? Where were the role players. Why didn’t Hunter turn into the Hulk after he was punched? They seemed to shrink from the fight. Some serious long look in the mirror sessions this off season. And perhaps we explore a Garland or Allan trade after all.

Let's give credit where it's due. Cavs got outplayed and outcoached by a better team. I really think the Pacers are going to win it all this year. We just don't match up well against them....1-3 in the regular season also.

Cavs found a way to completely and utterly invalidate that insane regular season performance.

Next year: ignore the regular season completely because it is entirely meaningless. Actually, that is a solid plan for all Cleveland sports.

That Pacers vs Knicks game 1 was absolutely insane. I feel like I'm re-living the 90s.

Knick fans completely stunned and Pacers seem to be on an otherworldly mission.
