Just a reminder to all what Memorial Day is all about. It's not about celebrating our veterans. It's about honoring the fallen. It's in remembrance of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and our freedom. The fight they were sent to fight was not of their choosing. They had no say in where or why our nation was fighting the war they were sent to and into battle. They only chose to serve our nation. Never confuse the two. We owe all of these brave man and women an eternal debt of gratitude.

So if you will, between beers, when flipping the meat on the grill, after you give congratulations to the neighbor kid for his graduation, remember first and foremost what this day represents and why we are all here enjoying our freedom. After all, what could be more important than that?
