After hearing for 20+ years "someday you'll need a new valve this is finally the year. Most of my cardiologists in the past were surprised I am asymptomatic. No chest pains, trouble breathing, dizziness etc. My wife insisted I go CC for this because of their level of expertise.
I am headed up your way Sunday, with tests, blood workup etc on Monday and Tuesday for Wednesday procedure. The specialists make it sound like a "routine" procedure, and I hope that is the case. I absolutely have an unnatural anxiety of dentists and I had to get a clean bill of health to clear my surgery. NO such luck. Had 2 top wisdom teeth and a back molar pulled yesterday which went surprising well. My dentist phobia make snot sense but it severe.
Other than that, I take decent care of myself, walk an hour every day maybe missing 2-3 days a month. I am in my juts hit my mid 60s this year and been a die Browns fan since 1969, though I have only been to about 8 games live. I did manage to attend the Houston playoff game in 2023, which was very disappointing. 2 years ago I bought a shirt with a large SB trophy on it that reads "Come on Cleveland, I just want one before I die". Not being dramatic, it was bought as a joke.
Anyome else have any experience with procedure at CC?
I am not expecting complications, but just felt like telling someone other than family.
Thanks

I have no advice to give since I have no experience with it. But I would like to wish you the best of luck on the procedure and hope to see you posting again soon.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

No experience here, no insights to offer. Sending a prayer for a successful procedure. Time for fans to suit up.
Pulling for you and for yours, Fort! Good luck!

No such experience here ..... as .... according to some ...... I have no heart. Praying for a successful outcome for you.

Thanks you guys for the prayers and wishes. But also, for the jokes. They gave me a nice chuckle.

Sounds like it is well planned and under control.
I have no medical expertise but my sister worked for CC her entire career. They know how to work on hearts.
It seems that the good thing about heart work is that once the procedure is done. You recover quickly.
I was out of the hospital after two nights following a massive heart attack.
I was back swimming within a month. They want you to rehab quickly.
Good luck all should work out well. Be positive.

I was just telling my daughter today that I am stunned by what I am doing in a swimming pool.
78 next month had a heart attack and a shoulder separation about a year ago.
15 years of lap swimming over 100 miles a year. That is from Florida to Canada.
25 minutes of high stepping and deep front treading in neck deep water. Then eighteen 25 meter laps.
Zero physical limitations. I feel extremely fortunate.
