Fat Axxes in Weathersfield Township announced that March 29 will be its final day of business. The owners say business has been slower, especially during the summer months, and they can’t afford to stay open. In a statement, the owners thanked everyone for supporting their business since it opened in 2019. They encourage the public to “pack the house” for the last three weekends and say the bar is for sale if anybody is interested.

That type of bar has had a lot of support elsewhere. Maybe it is just location.
