How about 1989, an AFC Championship & a trip to the Super Bowl, kinda meaningful if you ask me. Tell me, when was the last time the Cleveland Clowns won ANYTHING meaningful??? How many times have they been invited to the Super Bowl? ZERO? That's what I thought.

and do your research, there were 14 teams in 1964 when the browns won, they wore helmets similiar to what they wear today, and if you ask most experts on the sport, the 60's was one of the best decades for professional football

If it weren't for Madwoman constantly bringing up the fact that the Bungles played in the Superbowl, I wouldn't have known it. You know how they always say "Nobody ever remembers the loser in the Superbowl"? It's true. I have a hard time remembering who lost last year's Superbowl.

12 different teams made the NFL championship game between 33 and 69. The Cowboys did not win in that time, despite making it to two championship games. Can't find anything to verify that there actually WERE 14 teams. But assuming you ARE right (which is one helluva stretch of the imagination), then everyone wasn't guaranteed to win eventually. Because... they didn't...

As for being the poorest city in America. Well, let me just say I've lived in both cities. Cleveland may be poorer, but I don't remember the last time I was in Cleveland where I had a race riot or a curfew therein. I don't remember the last time I was in Cleveland where I had to leave my city to go to another state to have fun. I remember all of those in Cincinnati. You talk about us being poor when you have Over the Rhine. You talk about us being poor when you had Jerry Springer as the mayor of your city.
