HI all!

For those who may remember me, it's been a good long time since I've been around.

To say my life has been crazy is very much an understatement. My oldest is about to graduate from high school and embark on a college adventure. He'll be going to Ohio State (Go Bucks!). He hopes to join the band in his 2nd year. He plays the sousaphone, so if he does make the band, he'll get to dot the i! My youngest is in 7th grade and going through some crap right now. But we're managing. Me? I'm in a job I LOVE. I'm a paraprofessional at an elementary school. So I work with special needs kiddos all day. They are the best! After a nearly 2-year battle, my husband of 20+ years passed away in January 2025 from a very rare and very aggressive form of Leukemia. It has been the hardest thing I've ever done.

So now, at the "young" age of 52, I'm a widowed, single mom, working 1.5 jobs (half is because I do it on a substitute basis, but I teach driver's ed). Do not recommend this kind of life.

Anyway, hi!

Hey Babe! This is a wonderful gift on a Sunday morning. Do us all a favor and stick around every now and then, and by now and then I mean more often than the time that has passed since your last post.

Sorry to hear about your husband. Sorry I have forgotten his name. I always liked the stories and pics you put up when you guys went to Mid -Ohio and places for the races.

Funny how time passes so swiftly. You now have a college aged kid. Hard to believe. It just proves that the days are long, but the years are short.

Anyway, great to hear from you and even with the tragedy it sounds like you are on solid footing. You will always be a member of the inner circle.

Take care and talk to you later!

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Welcome aboard again, Babe! Sorry for your loss and hope it will be better. I want to hear more about you. I was a "lifer" teaching in the public school and coaching, but I grew up in Lexington and worked with Mid-Ohio in high school. See us soon! Bard

Hey girl! As you know I've been keeping up with what's going on in your life and you also know I'm here for you if there's anything I can ever do. Love you all.
