I am really concerned about our OL (no crap, right?). I think we need to see some better play there - both in the run and pass pro

I want to see the continued use of KC and Boston

Coats is a continued name that I hear about (and see in clips). Hopefully he continues to ascend

No turnovers please - it's the only way we can stay in games

This practice for SS is high stakes.

He has a lot riding on this. He needs a home run in this practice and in the game.

Play clean ball. Look the part. If he has a chance. This is the time to stake the claim.

You ever see a new coach come in and turn things around instantly? I want to see that smile

I want to see improvement in the Oline and some push in the run game. Need to be better in short yardage. Monken wants to build a bully. That starts we winning on 3rd and short with the run game.

Hope that we see us build on the good from PS#1. Few flags, few injuries. Tougher offensive line play, and better D line pressure. Put up points, more than 10. Fewer turnovers. Go, Browns.

Winning the trenches. No turnovers and no injuries.

I you win in the trenches and don't turn the ball over your chances of winning are strong. If you win in the trenches you can run the ball. If you win in the trenches and can run the ball it opens up the pass. If you win in the trenches you can pressure your opposing QB and stop their run games.

It all begins and ends in the trenches. Same as it ever was.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

We need to get the ground game more work. Simple truth about the trenches, for shure. Also, winning in the trenches makes ST more effective. This will measure us. We need to get the new blood out there. Go, Browns!

This is what I am hoping for as well. I'm keeping my expectations low regarding the offense and the line, in particular. No way you replace all 5 starters without some hiccups, but I want to see them steadily build off each previous outing, and that starts now with game 2.

well, Wright is out now too - our DL is a concern (even more so)

Monken had some praise for Green after practice with the Bills.

That is encouraging because Monken said he has not had many reps. Smart, works hard, great attitude.

I hope he plays against the Bills.

Given the way things have gone. It would not be beyond reason that by the end of the year Green may get some chances.

DW, SS, and DG are not guaranteed a future with the Browns.

DW would have to play beyond anything he has shown.

SS will most likely get a chance at some point this year. He has to prove he has a future.

DG's future is totally uncertain. Maybe a back-up; maybe not.

Green has to continue to learn and improve. When given opportunities. He must seize them.

His physical tools are what coaches dream about. If he continues to improve in all areas. He will get a chance.

I hope Green gets some reps. He’s the wildcard in our QB room. You really don’t know what you have with him but the measurables look very good.

DW and SS have not done much in pre-season to indicate they are the future.

It is not like anyone who has covered pre-season daily and seen the practices are over the moon about how great they look.

The season is close at hand. But I doubt that there is anyone looking at the Browns and seeing quarterback as their strength.

Starting DW serves little purpose. Playing SS is at the very least an exercise in finding out if he can play.

Clearly the Browns plans are to find their guy in the draft.

So, if SS plays and does not show he is the future. Playing Green helps to develop him. Beyond that who knows?

Playing Green can’t be any worse than what we’ve seen over the years from our Quarterback’s. If nothing else his athleticism will be fun to watch.

It's funny (not really though) to realize the QB with the best chance to be on the roster next year is our QB4.

Yeah I think Green willl see the field at some point during the season, too. And I bet he has a package of plays to use his legs like Fields

Oh, you'll be laughing all the way to the bank when he becomes our fQB in 2030.

Since there is no basis in logic for his post it is nonconsequential.

I want to see a sustained running game. I want to see both Judkins and Sampson looking good as runners. The key to our success this year will be to control the clock. You do that with a good rushing game and a crisp short passing game.

I don't see why Judkins and Sampson can't be this year version of Chubb and Hunt or Mack and Byner.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

"Peen, you gave me chills. I have wanted to see that formation. Inside power, outside breakaway. Hope we move beyond Ski's anemic offense this season. I would also offer the success of Csonka and Kiick! Mercury Morris also. (Not sure of the spelling there.)

sanders did some good things, but nothing that we haven't seen. He's not good feeling the rush at Times and was inaccurate with the INT

Bigger concern for me: our backup defense stinks lol

Good God I think the only thing worse than the Browns play is having to listen to that ANNOYING sideline reporter for Buffalo. Maddy Glab, Absolutely HORRIBLE. WTF is asking Bradley Chubb how him being a Line Leader in grade school has anything to do with grown men playing football.
