classic lol

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Tillman was a giant disappointment. He's not one I worry about going somewhere else and flourishing. He had every opportunity to take the lead and just.... crickets. He was one of those trendy overlooked players that when he came out people were bubbling about him being a real draft steal. And every off season he was just about to pop. This is the first off season I've heard next to nothing about him. So... whatevs.

Wasn't Tillman the one that Steve Smith said would be a monster?

I think he's up there with David Bell in terms of guys that did basically nothing.

I expected a lot more out of him too. It just wasn't meant to be.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

We need depth on defense so hopefully he is a viable backup

He could not stay on the field.

No choice but to let him go despite his skills. He never practiced or played.

It says right in the post, he played in all 17 games

He was replying to the other Memphis post about Ced and referring to this offseason/camp. No worries, though, not catching something in tangled threads happens.

Tillman's situation does make me think about that new CTE study that's been floating around recently.

I think Tillman is an example as to why NFL GM's miss on draft picks. No matter how much potential a player shows you, more times than not they never reach that potential.

I expect us to cut some "surprises" hoping to add that position to the PS (Floriea, Dawand, Gage) and picking up areas of need: DT, CB, TE

My guess is they'll keep all 4 QBs coming out of final cuts today and only keep 5 WRs.

However, I do not think the Browns go into week 1 with (4) QBs on the 53 man roster. I'd expect Berry to trade either Sanders or Gabriel. I'm not sure they want to expose Green to the waiver wire, but maybe?

If we try to put one of our players on the PC and another team claims him, can we pull him back or do we lose him?

Cutting Leveston could mean they are keeping nine OL so they can keep four QBs.

If we waive a player, he has to clear waivers before we can place him on our practice squad. I believe the waiver period is 2 days. I don't think it has ever happened where a team waives a player then put in a waiver claim on the player. Something tells me you can't do that.

Will Levis cut. Isn’t he better than any of our QBs?

I certainly won't disagree that they could use a feel good story. I would add that as fans we love a good underdog feel good story ourselves. And he really did look good in preseason.

I think if he had been a part of any other position group and had shown that much he most likely would have made the 53 man roster.

But the WR position is a tough one to crack. You have first and second round draft picks along with Jeudy and Bond. That's four you knew were going to make the cuts. I'm not sure how many WR's they will keep on the 53 man roster but when you know you have four ahead of you going into cuts it means you have to be better than everyone else outside of those four. That's a tough one.
