I'm torn on this...
The fact they are doing this recognition/celebration the same day as Watson's first home start seems like a PR stunt to suppress some of the angst toward Watson and hype the crowd about Chubb before the game. I'd prefer it to be more about Chubb than it being (possibly) about that.
But I get it.

The NFL is a short career for most running backs.
Nick was that guy you wanted forever. You didn't want him to age. You just wanted Nick to be what he was.
It started from the day he arrived. No frills. No boasts. Little talk. Just a baller.
I am very partial to the run game. I grew up with Jim Brown, Bobby Mitchell, Leroy Kelly.
I love to watch a pounding run game. Run it down their throats with a late lead and never give them the ball.
Be able to run it when they know it's coming.

But I get it. You know... I didn't even consider this angle but you're probably right. I'm just going to enjoy it (if that's the right word) for what it is but I can certainly understand how some think it's tainted.
