Unsure about Lamar playing so??

Of course he is important.

We are at home. Weather should be good.

We still do not know about guys on defense playing? Sounds like KC will play.

The Ravens are a good team. Monken knows well. He should have a good game plan.

If Henry runs over us we will lose. We have to apply pressure no matter who is the QB.

The OL has to figure it out. We have to be able to run. Hopefully Sampson will help.

We need to get Fannin the ball. Period. He is one of the best offensive players on the team.

This is always a tough game. I would love to find a way to win.

If we are fully healthy and available we can keep it close. If we are without Carson, KC, Graham ... not much of a chance IMO.

Ravens are too good on O

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

I guess people are not very interested this year.

The team is 3-2 and not much is being discussed. Seems like fan interest is at an all time low.

I know DW is not a popular player and maybe that is part of it.

We are playing the Ravens who are one game in front of us. We could be in first place with wins against the Steelers and the Ravens if we can beat them.

The Guardians are leading in the ALCS 2-1 and hardly a peep.

Dawgtalkers seems to have lost a lot of people who used to discuss football.

I noticed a lot of disinterest this season also. I feel many of us fans take the attitude that why should I get excited and my hopes up when I know the Browns will break my heart again. I look forward to the Browns playing every week but I never expect anything good. Not a good attitude but that’s what usually happens. I was very excited about the Jets game and look what happened. They reverted to their old selves.

I think we're all going through a bit of an identity crisis as fans, bro. We all got excited and then lost to the Jets. That put us all in the official wait-and-see for the Ravens game.

Don't worry, next week you'll either have a bunch of excitement here or the boobirds will be back in full force.

I'm still as interested as I've always been. It's just, some posters have gotten out of hand. One will be here soon to respond. I will be in Alabama for a week, and I won't respond.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The Jets game was a let down.

But honestly it was a weird game. The weather was difficult and the Browns made key mistakes to lose.

If we do beat the Ravens. I imagine things will pick up.

Overall the Browns are in a kind of limbo. DW in or out?

If out then what next?

Looking at teams who need quarterbacks the Browns will most likely end up in fourth or fifth place. Cardinals, Miami, Jets, Steelers.

Who would the Browns be looking at?

I doubt that many wish to commit to DW.

I don't really see a question about DW being in or out. It just doesn't make sense to me that if they thought Sanders were better or even possibly the future that they wouldn't have started Sanders from the beginning. So at least as it pertains to this coaching staff I think the jury has already reached a verdict on Sanders. And it seems to me that all of the "doubters", including myself have at least to some extent been proven wrong about DW to this point. That certainly is subject to change moving forward but as of now I don't believe it to be an issue.

He did stink it up in the Jets game to some extent but overall this season has played at least average and in some cases well above average. That's more than many of us thought he had in him. So unless we see an extended period where he plays like he did last week I don't see any real controversy there.

I think a lot of what we saw posted after the Jets game was more reactionary than anything. This OL has not been very good in the run game but played pretty well in pass blocking until last week. People seemed pretty high on them until after the Jets game. Then suddenly after one bad game people made it sound like they were a different group of players. They're the same players. IMO we saw what we thought we might see in the first few games. We knew they were a group of rookies and FA's who had never played as a unit. Now after a few games teams have some film on them and knew how to exploit it.

We have one of two choices here. Either feel Monken can look at the film and fix it or accept it as our fate. I think overall he has done a pretty good job starting from scratch with new systems being installed on both sides of the ball. As of now that Jets game is an outlier. It looked completely different than the previous two games. At this point in time I'm not ready to see it as anything other than an anomaly. The future may change all of that. It could have been an anomaly or it could be a sign of things to come. We'll see.

Can we win? On any given Sunday.

I meant DW in or out after the season.

He is going to play unless injured. He would have to be awful for multiple weeks to get benched.

We still have not reached a conclusion at quarterback.

Looking ahead I still think it would be radical for the Browns to resign DW.

Given the teams in need and the draft. I have an early sneaky feeling the Browns draft Chambliss.

He should be there when we pick. Size is an issue and he is 24. But as far as play on the field. He might be the best.

Still a long way to go and lots can happen.

It's still early in the college season. Nobody really has any idea at this stage where we will pick nor how far we could or might move up given the draft assets available to work with. I agree that in all likelihood they will draft a QB early in round one. There hasn't been enough top rated QB's play against enough top ranked schools for me to go down that rabbit hole yet.

I know Chambliss has looked good, but I have reservations about his size. I don't care about his age but at 6' and 205 I have concerns.

His size is the reason he might be there. He is listed at 6'.

He has proven himself on the field. He is a dual threat dynamic player.

Bryce Young and Kyle Murray are 5'10".

If we are going to beat the Ravens this would be the game to do so.

We are fairly healthy and playing at home. Lamar is out.

I haven't lost interest in the team

Coming on the board, yes I have lost interest

Several reasons

Thank you Purple so much for this board, but

There are many times I can't get on due to some error code or it says the site is not available

Trying to reply to a post it'll start to loop

Game day is full of haters, bitching, complaining and hating and it's 5 minutes into a game

And as the start of time when it was run by the Browns there was so much fighting between posters that there was very little football talk

Like a few weeks ago I came on here and posted a real stupid post to you that I had no idea I was posting

Worse than that there are a lot of purposely posts being written intentionally

There was a time when you came to the board to find out info on specifics

I'm pretty sure Social Media as in Instagram and other outlets are a big reason you don't need to come here to find out news

As far as they can win , because we have nothing to do with them winning

I believe they, the Browns can.

Monkey has to call better O plays. Watson is not the reason I lost interest. Actually if the Browns design more plays for him to use his legs, I believe it'll help the O move the ball.

Yes he holds onto the ball too long, so play call to let him run more. That should bring the attention to the Ravens D and maybe help open up the field so the passing game can be beneficial

I wish the Browns had a real OC that could game plan and call plays that help the team be successful

The D and ST's have to play their best to help put the O in a good position to score and move the ball. The O has to play their best to help the D and ST's

Sounds like if the O, D ST's and Coaching stall all have a good game

The W will look good and 4-2 would be sweet !
