Concepcion was on fire. Finally Fannin! Goal line stop was impressive. Nice to have Judkins and Sampson back.

Yes, but is it all smoke-n-mirrors and against (one of) the worst team in the league? I'm not yet convinced...

We should have notched a win today without all this drama. Kicker switch? Stoooopid penalties are unbelievable and unforgivable. Keeping their drives alive and extending them on 4th down. Find the replacement for this dummy. FG practice should start tonight! Our zone D sucks. Hats off to Sampson. Clean up the the dumb stuff!

Yes, but is it all smoke-n-mirrors and against (one of) the worst team in the league? I'm not yet convinced... Neither am I, but you know what? I am in my mid-60s, and have been following 1969, so I am really enjoying this. I will continue to enjoy it as long as it happens. I haven't seen 5-2 too many times in the 26 years.

For crying out loud.
You think I could watch a game and enjoy it. Instead I end up an effing nervous wreck.
Get all clammy and need to take a shower after the game. Just to calm down and loosen the tension.
Geez forget about it. The Browns are 5-2.
Rumbling, stumbling, fumbling, gasping again to win with no time left.
Murderation man.

It’s tough to deal with every week. Reminds me of the 1980 season with Brian Sipe and the Cardiac Kids !! The Titans have played some other teams tough too.

I mean, I watch these games and am sweating, cheering, cursing, etc .. all of these have been a rollercoaster. I felt like Fannin and KC really gave us the juice today ... and I won't disrcredit the return of Sampson. I feel like his presence gives the offense some oomph
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

- The phrase of the game was "yards after the catch" for our receivers, specifically KC and Fannin. - Spotted the Titans 14 points in what felt like a blink of an eye and still won. - Run defense continues to struggle. Pollard had a game. - Judkins looked really good. Fast to the open lane, strong and tough to tackle, and really meant a great deal for the passing game to keep the defense honest. - Great game from Watson. The throw to KC that he dropped was beautiful. Made a lot of good throws and was pretty accurate all day. Missed some deep Denzel Boston throws by a step. Led us down the field to win the game.....again. - Too many third and long conversions for Ward. That should not happen. - Even though we didn't connect, I loved seeing all the deep throws. - Felt like a day won by the offense and supported a pretty meh day by the defense. When do we start talking about extending Watson, while still expecting the team to draft a QB early next draft.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

This was a fun game to watch.
Some basic comments:
- This team was punched in the mouth and was down 14-0 instantly. I love how they fought back.
- we are very YOUNG on offense. You can see the electricity each of our players bring (or can bring). Enjoy seeing the growth. They will make mistakes, but you can see each of them belong in the league. Former years, we would say this player projects…or is potential to do great things. No…KC, Boston, Fannin, even Jud or Sanders belong.
- Our last drive, was I the only one that expected us to go down the field and win the game? I was pretty confident we would pull it out. Not because of who we were playing, but because our players were more talented compared to the defense. To be honest, this can be said to most teams in the league

Cant really blame them. We could easily be 2-5.. we cant stop the run and we dont run the ball very well.

IMO this game changed when we stopped them at the goal line.
DW played his most complete game. Once again he made huge plays with the game on the line.
We were way more balanced on offense today. Q and Sampson made a difference we moved the chains and kept third down manageable.
We had a bad call on play to Fannin but Denzel turned it around.
KC had a big game. The big play on the deep ball. He made up for that.
The Browns are a work in progress. The offense improved today. We are 5-2 and face the Steelers again with first place on the line.
For a team most felt would win maybe four games. This season is a blast.

For what many thought this season was supposed to be, we are already playing with house money. I was talking with one of my buddies from work and he brought up if we win today-we really only have to win 4 or 5 games the rest of the year and be in the hunt for the playoffs-And there are some winnable games in there.
The kids picked in the last 2 drafts are really stepping up and playing.

And as for the "experts"-Don't care what they say-I wonder what their odds were at the beginning of the season that we would be in first at almost the halfway point.

If we pull off beating the Steelers, we could have 8 or 9 wins before facing the Bengals in week 13.

a few have mentioned it, but I'll echo it: the YAC is a HUGE deal for our offense. There were many years where we were basically last in the NFL in YAC and it stymied our offense. Having the mix of a run game and YAC is very good

5-2 Baby ! Felt like we improved on offense!
Gifting them a 14-0 lead ... the interception was going to happen, Watson has thrown so many passes that could have been INT in other games, by the law of averages he had to have one or 2 picks in a game soon. And then we went to work.
Offense played better and Q and Sampson looked much better running the ball. OL did well - hopefully Howard is back next week starting. Watson with probably his best most complete game as a Brown ... and KC had himself a statement game. One dropped pass notwithstanding, he was a difference maker and none more importantly than on his end around run where the D sniffed it out and kept containment but KC still managed to pluck his way through the defenders and pick up a chunk play.
I thought Monken called a great game. It managed to keep the D off kilter for the entire game. It made me think of a game a few years ago - think it was maybe against Seattle, whoever it was it was a home game and I was at the game and by some fluke I was sat next to an English guy who was a fan of the opposing team. Stefanski had called a great first half and we'd looked unbeatable - we seemed to be able to to anything and we were 3 scores up at halftime. Maybe even 21 points up. Second half was a completely different story, the other team predicted every offensive play call before the snap, shut us down and eventually won the game. Playing well for a half with no adjustments was a theme before but not so far with Monken. Obviously the Falcons won yesterday vs the 49ers -- so maybe KS has improved, maybe he needed better talent? idk ... but I liked what I saw yesterday.
Someone mentioned the bad call on Fannin's fumble - which was a bad call. But karma struck because on Fannin's big play at the end of the game, pretty certain our RT jumped early and it wasn't called. Looked that way live and I have not seen a replay.
People seem fixated on the Titans being 1-5 (now 1-6) and want to disparage the win ... but their defense has been good. They haven't given up rafts of points and it seems like they are improving, having beaten the |Colts and played decently vs the Browns. I don't get the obsession with trashing the Browns instead of celebrating the win. I'm with ScottPlayersFM - I fully expected a winning drive with a minute left and 3 time outs.
Winning 2 against a divisional rival is never easy ... but even if we get beat next week I feel like we'll show up and give them a game. Here's to 6-2

Deshaun Watson played his most complete game.
He threw for 308 yards and ran for 19 one run a TD.
He looked like a real quarterback. He played from the pocket. He got better protection. He didn't look jittery and didn't bolt at the sign of pressure. He stepped up and made throws. Everybody was involved in the offense.
This game was a very positive sign that we could actually be a good team.
The Titans have a good defensive front and Saleh is a respected defensive head coach.
This game will help the offense because of the balance. 183 yards rushing and 308 passing.
We will be a different team playing the Steelers. I like that we are away. Just like the first Steeler game. Everybody will pick the Steelers to win at home.
Take them down in this game. People will be singing a different tune.

The Steelers game comes down to two things IMO:
eliminating our negative plays on offense (sacks, TO's, penalties, etc) ... Pittsburgh feeds off of them
eliminating Jaylen Warren's impact ... he's their catalyst without question and unfortunately our defense has struggled against smaller, quicker backs

- Another week; another 4th quarter comeback win!
- Dylan Sampson provided a boost to the offense
- Nice game for Concepcion. The drop was bad, but this is a day to merry.
- That was the type of game Judkins needed.
- Denzel Ward is really really good.
- Quincy Williams had another big game.
- Tony Pollard looking like CJ2K was concerning.
- Szmyt redeems himself.....again.
- Watson positioning himself to be the Browns starting QB again next year, lol.
Steelers next!

I'm all for progress so I'll take it. This was more of a team win than I've seen all season on O and it isn't even close. All cylinders were clicking for the most part except for the penalties. getting Fannin back into the mix was great to see. Many had been calling for that and the results were obvious. A successful running game keeps defenses on their heels and helps reduce pressure on your QB when they have to respect the running game. This was by far the best run blocking I've seen from this OL all season. Hopefully that was a sign the OL is beginning to gel and it will be something we see on a regular basis. It gives watson a sense of comfort and allows him to play at this best. The same would go for any QB. That's why QB pressures are such a critical part of the game. The D played well after overcoming the initial shock and awe. I have no idea what was up with that. That and the Titans ran all over them the entire game. The run D hasn't been very good but my God was that part ugly! Yet at the very same time after that first quarter 14 point explosion by the Titans O the Brown held them to 10 points the rest of the game. Szmyt missed a FG but redeemed himself in the end. He's been a damn good kicker. These wins seem like they're never easy. It's as if they want us to be as exhausted by the end of the game as they are. If that's the goal it's working! A win's a win no matter how you get there. While this one was just as close or closer than the others, you could still see a lot of progress being made. All we can ask at this point is to continue down that path. I saw someone compare them to Brian Sipe and the Cardiac Kids in this thread and that seems very appropriate to me. Earlier I posted on a FB thread that they should be called "The Cardiac Kids Part Deux"
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I feel like the Steeler game is one where we are given no chance (maybe rightfully so), so the hope is we at least play loose and challenge it. At the very least it will make the younger guys better for future "big" games
