This game coming up is the proving ground.
Win this game and the narrative changes. A record of 6-2 with three division wins puts the team at over 80% chance to get into the playoffs.
For the Browns it means even more. It changes the North. We have been at the bottom for a long long time.
Win this game and the Browns future in the North looks like a whole different picture.

I know some people think a kicker should make everything under 55 yards, but it doesn't work that way. Szmyt is a fine kicker. So what, he missed a kick. It was well struck and bounced high off the right goal post. Some act like it was some sort of shanked kick from 23 yards. Odds say he is going to miss a few more before seasons end, so deal with it.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Aaand... he came back in the same game and made the winning kick. Straight down the middle, like 90% of his kicks are.
You have a kicker that makes almost all his kicks, doesn't make them and adventure and doesn't get in his own head. Unless you're dumb or greedy, that's all you can really ask for.

I'll take 90% of his kicks made. He can't win every game and he can't make every kick.
Meh.

Agreed. He's the best kicker we've had since Phil Dawson.
