7% eh? Anything that I can get here in NE Ohio that anyone recommend. I've got a whole summer of grilling ahead of me. Nothin quite like sitting outside grilling and having a beer. Seems like a good time to give some new things a go. I'm an old man for 22 aren't I?

Well, I just went out and got a massage with my wife yesterday. Afterwards, we saw a billboard for a place advertising they sold over 500 different beers. We went there, picked up a mini-keg (which I've been searching all over for) of Bells Oberon (good stuff), and handpicked a few other beers. Carib, Beach Bum, and Peroni. Didn't try them yet.
I'll let you know if any of them are good.

Bells is good stuff, though where ever I come acrossed it, it is quite pricey.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......

I think I paid 21.99 for the 5 liter keg.
I've had this 5 liter keg fridge for 2 years, and haven't used it because I haven't been able to find the mini kegs for it. Heineken has them now, but they have a dispenser on top, so it won't work. It has to have the dispenser on the bottom. So I found a Coors light one and a couple German imports a year ago, but figured I can go to this distributor around here and get something better.
Well they didn't have any at all except the Heineken, so I buy 2 and find out it doesn't work with it. So I go to this store and they have about a dozen different ones, but I see they are all these German imports that I've never heard of, until I see the Bells in the back. Finally I can break the thing out. I had some Bells Oberon last year when my bro-in-law bought some for a cookout. Pretty good stuff.

Wheats and whites? Blue Moon Belgian White, Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, Hoegaarden, Paulaner Hefeweizen, Franziskaner Hefe are all tasty and good for summer weather.

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is good as well as their Summer Shandy. I drank a beer last night called Carib, which is from somewhere in the carribean, Trinidad I think.
BTW, speaking of summer beers, I saw a variety pack by Labatt's that had a summer bear, a honey wheat, some kind of twist which may have been lime, and one other. Almost bought it, but was low on cash. Wondering if any of them were any good?

I just picked up an amazing beer at Heinens - Banana Bread Beer. Tastes just like it sounds, like drinkable banana bread that you get a buzz from. Good stuff.

Is that the Wells Banana Bread Beer? I had one of those at the Winking Lizard once and I have to say I was kind of let down. It might've had something to do with all the random foods I was cramming in my face though. And I did get a cool souvenir glass.

...just got back from this burger/sports bar joint and they had all these funky beers of the world. I tried this Belgian beer call Duvel. It's 8.5%, has a champagne fizz to it, full flavored and is very refreshing. I went to Binny's beverage and bought a 4-pack for 12.99! That sounds like a lot but it's like drinking 2.5 beers each bottle.

Sounds interesting.....there's a place about 25 minutes from here that has beers from the world. Over 500. I need to make another run there this weekend. The sell them individually, and they give you a six pack carry case to put your bottles in. So you can get one of this, one of that. Pretty cool. Last time, I bought some Beach Bum, some Jamaican beer, Peroni, and something else.....can't remember. The Beach Bum was actually pretty good, reminded me of Yeungling a bit.
