What kind of idiot Terroist would be making a scene at an airport. Terrorists are smarter than that. You think they would botch up years of planning and money by parking in a no parking zone and pissing off cops?
That witness is an idiot.
Bodden not guilty, by the way. So glad. Cops in this case sounded like idiots.

Bodden, 26, was charged with failure to comply with a police order, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police said he in cursed at officers, drove backward on a one-way street and defied "No Parking" signs at the airport. A judge dismissed the resisting arrest charge mid-trial. City prosecutors described Bodden at the beginning of the three-day trial as an ornery sports celebrity who acted as if he were above the law. Bodden's lawyers painted a different picture of Bodden - a young black man who was treated like a drug dealer because he was well- dressed and drove a nice car. On Sept. 6, Bodden went to the airport to pick up his girlfriend and two children. According to police reports, an officer saw him driving his 2004 GMC Yukonin reverse in a one-way arrivals area and told him to stop. Bodden complied after being asked twice and then parked in a restricted area. What exactly is a cop suppose to do if he gives an order to keep moving and it's ignored? Say Pretty Please? Just ignore it? Their job is to keep traffic moving. I've been in the same spot as Bodden but when they told me to move I did another loop around until my family was at the curb ready to go. It took less than 5 minutes. No big deal.The idiot here is Bodden. He was probably overcharged but whos fault is it? It's Boddens, he should pay a fine and forget about it.

If a cop gives an order and is ignored, and the order is stupid and unreasonable, he should realize he shouldn't have given the order in the first place.
Or he should inquire as to why he is being ignored without being a jerk.
Or he should, and this may sound crazy, HELP a decent citizen who is trying to pick up his wife and infant at the airport.
Just becuase a cop gives an order, doesn't mean he or she is right. And just because he is ignored, doesn't give them a license to be jerks.

If there is a big NO PARKING sign... and you're parked in front of it, how is the cop telling you to move stupid and unreasonable?

Decent citizens don't drive backwards the wrong way at an airport. Airports are fairly conveniently arranged so that if you miss your spot, you start back out and you get in that "Return to Airport" lane which loops you back around, you DO NOT drive backwards.
I seriously hope the next time you have to pick somebody up at the airport there are 800 cars in the pick-up lanes, all parked about 4 deep so you can't get through and I hope every traffic cop is helping the citizens and allowing them to park there because their circumstance is apparently more important than yours. Cops are helping by maintaining order and keeping things moving, that's why they are there, not to make judgement calls about every specific car that pulls up and whether or not it's "worthy" of violating the no parking signs.

Now DC just how far did Bodden back up??? 100 feet, 50 feet, 25 feet, was he just backing in to parellel park? Did he have his windows up and the radio playing while the cop stood 10 feet from him telling him to stop?
None of us know the answers to these questions, but since the jury found him not guilty, I have to side with Bodden and think the cop was out of line.
