Mark currently has a 37.80 ERA while off to the showers. That's going to take a few starts to lower.

Ben had an option left and we would have had to eat Michaels contract. Not a good reason if you ask me, but what do you do? I say you play your best, not the highest paid.

In CC's defense, Thome was 0-11 against him all-time. A hitter as good a Thome was due to catch him once or twice, it just happened to be on back-to-back AB's.
