I love this - the sun is shining, I'm listening to the Tribe on the radio while at work, (Up 6 -2), boss left early.....

Not bad for a Monday afternoon.

Mark currently has a 37.80 ERA while off to the showers. That's going to take a few starts to lower.

OUCH...that's a hammy...

P.S. They can talk about Red Sox Nation and Yankee Country all they want...when I was in Florida I saw a ton of people in Indians gear.

There's a national audience that IMO the Indians should tap into.

When you play in this weather, it always seems like one player per day pulls a hammy. Everyone should open in South or in a dome.

Thank goodness we didn't trade Shoppach! I hope Victor's injury isn't serious.

As long as CC is pitching to him every game. How about not challenging a guy that just took you deep with a runner on again? Pitch around him and deal with the next guy.

Ben had an option left and we would have had to eat Michaels contract. Not a good reason if you ask me, but what do you do? I say you play your best, not the highest paid.

In CC's defense, Thome was 0-11 against him all-time. A hitter as good a Thome was due to catch him once or twice, it just happened to be on back-to-back AB's.

7-7

CC gave up 5 after 5 1/3 innings. The Sox just scored two in the top of the 7th (not sure how yet).

Are you serious? Did anyone else catch Pierzynski short legging it right in to the middle of Garko's back? How did no one in the dugout or on the field see that?

Well, on the down side....that long inning means Thome gets another AB this game.

Man, that was a quick bottom 7th. VMart goes down and the bats go cold....what gives?

Crazy sequence of plays right there.

Good for us, bad for them!

Good start to the 8th here, 2 on, nobody out. Bring 'em home, Gark!

We were fortunate on the call at home, but the interference call was correct.
