i love how he went from saying the wizards were going to beat us to now the cavs aren't playing a real team with a game plan

In fact I stated in the preivous thread that I think it goes 5 games...Cavs.

What you people don't what to hear is facts...I am not talking about the Cavs being swept, but its hilarious how quick people think they're gonna win the east after playing a pretty patheticly organized team that has its best player injured and slowin down the team.

I'm sorry, the truth hurts sometimes, we know little more about the Cavs than we did last week because they havent been tested to where we can know how they will respond to a good team.

I agree enjoy this series, enjoy the Cavs throwing the Wizards stupid talk back in their faces but please don't confuse the Cavs whipping up on them and the Cavs being Finals ready.

I for one had reservations about the Cavs beating the Wizards.. I just didn't think the Cavs were playing all that well, I have to admit though I didn't realize how banged up the Wizards really are...

Fast forward to now, I still don't know if the Cavs could get past Orlando or Detroit, I doubt they could get past Boston and I SERIOUSLY DOUBT that they could get past 2 of them back to back.... but I'll still root like hell that we can.

We need to not let Washington get off the mat tonight. Put them in a 3-0 and they'll just pack it in....give them any inkling of hope and it could become a series. We need a big night from someone other then LeBron tonight. If that happens, I like our chances of going up 3-0.

10+ points from both Wally AND Boobie tonite would be nice...

are people excited about this team FINALLY playing like they should? you bet...

but i haven't heard one media outlet or fan say the cavs are going to win the east...

when i made my predictions, i said the cavs would win in 6, but after what i've seen in these first two games, i think the cavs could potentially give boston fits... (that's who we'd play should we move on, the nba does not re-seed like the nhl)

sure, boston will be favored, but so was detroit last year... i think the cavs could give boston a series, just based on the fact that our defense looks better, we're knocking down shots, and lebron's history against the celtics (he averages some 35 points per game against boston)

i looked back, and yes you did say the cavs would be the wizards, my mistake, it's just that your so negative on everything that i got my negativity mixed up...

coming into this series, people were high on washington, the cavs make them look bad, and now they're a bad team...

you were also down on this trade, and now, this trade seems to be looking better and better every day...

and not only that, but the guy we all wanted? jason kidd? don't look so good with the mavs...

looks like danny ferry pushed all the right buttons...

ben wallace is showing up, wally has found his shot, delonte seems to be more and more comfortable running the offense, and joe smith provides everything you'd want in a bench guy

and now we also don't look so slow on the perimeter, against a perimeter-oriented team (yes they are)

cavs fans have every right to be excited, this is the best team they have had since lebron was drafted...

and with 32m in expiring deals next year, the future looks mighty bright...

Coming into this series I was worried because the Cavs haven't really looked like a team yet this year. After the trade I thought we had a lot of potential but really needed to gel quickly.

We have looked like a team these first two games. I still don't think we'll win the East unless we really get hot....

I agree King... with LBJ anything is possible... but I think Boston has a FANTASTIC team this year.. Do I think we can beat them in a 7 game playoff series? Possibly... but we really gotta be firing on all cylinders... right now we're doing that... but I think we would have to take it to another level against Boston.

Thankfully, I think we have the defense to keep it close... and if it's close in the 4th we have a chance with LBJ.

I'm not sure we have anything Houston would want... and I know TMac is taking a lot of grief (which IMO he should) but there is a huge following here that love him...

I think he needs to find a way to get out of the first round... in the east he'd probably have a better shot, but I just don't thinkw e have enough to trade for him.

i think he would have to force houston's hand... maybe similiar to how jason kidd force'd new jersey's hand without really doing it publicly...

i disagree about the rockets with yao, i still think they're a team that underachieves when it means the most...

and this isn't on tracy mcgrady, because he's a hell of a player, he almost had a triple double the other night...

but even when yao is around, he has been a guy who has been a gigantic dissapointment in the playoffs...

in my opinion, he's overrated...

but the only piece worth anything we could package to interest houston is anderson varejao (who could potentially walk anyways)

but houston already has luis scola, who is a similiar "energy" type guy...

i don't know if the cavs would part with boobie gibson...

i would just hope for t-mac forcing a trade, and us just sending expiring deals (jones, snow, and any combo of wally/joe smith)

Tracy is a hell of a player... but... he has never made it out of a 1st round playoff series... and he had 1 point in the 4th quarter of both the first two Utah games.... I could care less if he almost had a triple double.... 1 point in the fourth isn't a superstar...

Personally I think he has a ton of talent, but doesn't live up to it.... and I'm tired of his excuses...

If the Cavs had a shot at TMac and Boobie was the main guy we were sending, the Cavs wouldnt blink an eye before saying yes.

15 turnovers? Well, I don't think we could possibly play any worse in the second half. Someone else needs to step up. LeBron can't do it by himself.

Unreal, CAVS look like complete CRAP! (wish I could swear on here right about now) I kinda figured this game would be won by the Wizards for some reason, but not like this. And the Wash fans are pretty dumb booing LBJ when their guys were the ones talking smack in the first place. Thats laughable

It's hard to criticize LeBron but what's with him slapping butts and trying to make nice with the Wizard's players after fouls/exchanges? It's really starting to get on my nerves.

so glad i didn't watch this game...quite possibly the worst playoff loss EVER

losing by almost 30 points....god thts awful...hell mayb more when the game is over...

you can't turn the ball over like that and expect to win, bottom line...

it wasn't all us with the turnovers, washington turned their energy up for sure, but we have to come into sunday taking better care of the ball...

Man, I know it's only one game, but I don't care who you are, you do not get beat by 36 points in the PLAYOFFS and deserve to win anything.

Yeah you heard right, of course 23 TO's and shooting 39.7 from the field, 12.5 from 3, and 52.2 from the ft line will do that. Especially when the Wiz shot 52.1 from the field, 42.1 from 3, 72.7 from the charity stripe, and they make one more free throw than you attempt

a loss is a loss in my opinion, even if it was embarassing yesterday...

i can't even blame poor shooting or bad defense for this one, the turnovers were the difference...

i think washington knows taht they have to blow us out to beat us, i remember gilbert arenas saying 2 years ago that they can't play close games with cleveland, because of lebron (which makes me scratch my head when he goes on about how lebron isn't 4th quarter clutch)

LeBron took way too many shots instead of driving to the hoop, the Wizards showed in game one and two they couldnt stop him from driving.

Only getting to the line 4 times in a game is horrible, even without the mega turnovers the Cavs still lose. LeBron has to get back to pounding the lane and forcing fouls.

LeBron didn't have the same moxy last night for some unknown reason...he's gotta carry this team completely for us to go anywhere.

the roles were just completely reversed last night.. the Wizards looked focused and had a plan and the Cavs looked lost. Poor ball handling, poor defense (especially transition defense), nobody going to the basket...
