I blame Ytown ... he started off with a post title like this ... Of course OSU was going to go downhill after that. Yeah ..... I shoulda known better .....

defense is alive, lets get some offsense going. I still don't like the soft zone, but it at least looks like they strapped on a pair. Time for the offense to do the same. With Ginn out of the game though, AG is not getting his normal single coverage against the 2nd or 3rd best CB. We need to get creative, find ways to get Pittman the ball in the open field. JMO.

Troy Smith's draft stock Well he sure looks remarkably similar to Charlie Frye when he's under pressure.

Yeah. Ditto.
No way did I think that Florida could dominate this game. They did .... maybe not from start to finish ...... but from 2nd play to finish anyway.

Wow! Totally outclassed by Florida. Congrats to the Gators.
(I say this as I cling to my last vestiges of hope for a comeback...even though I know it isn't going to happen)

It's over now. !!!! Well I will give congrats to Peen and Peen only(on this board anyways) because he was the only one who claimed Florida as his team before the game. Also I give it up to him for showing class and not gloating. Congrats on a nice win peen, Very few gave Florida much of a chance and they came in and shocked us. Now to my opinion of the game. I think giving Florida great field position early on in the game dug us a hole that we just could not dig out of. It basically took our running game away. I also think losing Teddy Ginn early in the game really allowed Floridas defense to play tight also contibuting to our lack of run game. I thing my biggest disappointment was the penaltys and allowing Florida to get out on us before we made some adjustments. Again Congrats Peen the Gators deserved this one. KING

National Championship in Football in Basketball in one year ... not bad. And what's scary is the basketball team is good enough to compete again this year... I think it's obvious that Florida is doing something illegal... but what?

Very few gave Florida much of a chance and they came in and shocked us. I wouldn't exactly call it shocking ... If I were a betting man, I probably would of loaded up on Florida before the game. Media Darling + Heisman Winner + 7 or more point favorite going against ... Team the media didn't even think should be there + tough under-rated defense + underdog = automatic victory for the "underdog" .... Just like the 2003, 2006 National Championships and the BSU/OU game. I just didn't think it would be so lopsided. I had a pretty bad feeling that UF was going to win.

Are you trying to claim the SEC is just a superior conference. Didnt the SEC lose 2 out of 3 bowl games to the Big Ten? Hey I go by the Any Given Sunday theory.Florida came out and played a better game and won tonight. They deserve it. KING

Nothing is automatic. If anyone thinks that I'd like to bet them regularly. I'd be happy to take their lunch money on a weekly basis.
Fact is, OSU got blown off the ball on both sides of the ball. Congrats to the Gators.

Didnt the SEC lose 2 out of 3 bowl games to the Big Ten? Yes they did.. that was both of the Big 10s bowl victories.. out of 7 attempts.... the SEC was 6-3. the Big 10 was 2-5.

Ok what SEC did against other conferences has nothing to do with what they did against my team and the conference they play in. Florida outplaying us tonight was not a reflection of what the SEC has done agaiinst the Big Ten this year it was a reflection of them playing one hell of a game. KING

A month ago, virtually every OSU and Big 10 fan on this board was in unanimous agreement that OSU and Michigan were the two best teams and the only reason there wasn't a rematch for the NC was some sort of conspiracy by the sportswriters... well Michigan got dismantled by the best team in the Pac 10 and OSU got dismantled by the best team in the SEC... and the Big 10 overall in bowl games was 2-5......
