First off...........intelligent post. Quote:
I was actually going the opposite way. Damon could have really helped replace what we miss from Gibson offensively. We needed to spread the floor more down the stretch and Pavlovic didn't do that well in that role.
I can appreciate that and I know it is the popular sentiment. I still disagree. DJ is a shooter. He brings absolutely nothing to the team otherwise. He wasn't comfortable shooting in this series. I guess we can blame that on inactivity, but it is my opinion that he wasn't ready to play. I wouldn't have played him, but that doesn't mean I am right.

I think he was injured in all honesty. He was on the bike early in the second half and really didn't come back in after that. With the work that he did on KG, I have to think that he would be on the floor if he were able to be out.
Good point. I was going to mention that, but I didn't. Thanks for pointing it out.

I said when this trade was made that Delonte West would be the steal of the deal. I love the way he plays. I actually wish he were a little more forceful in bringing the ball up, rather than defering so much. The Cavs have his Bird Rights this offseason and will likely need him, considering Gibson is also a FA. I love playing those two in the same backcourt, I really do.
Another good point. I don't like how brings it up either. He weaves too much. Back and forth, back and forth. It kills the shot clock. However, the kid showed a toughness that I love. Give me scrappy players. I'll take them any day of the weak over pusses like DJ and Wally.

He is a Cav through 2010, no doubt about that.
Thanks. I didn't want to turn this into a LeBron leaving thread. I was hesitant to write what I did, but I do think it is very important that we get this guy help before his contract is up. If we have a team around him that is capable of winning it all.......I believe he will stay. I have no proof of that, only my speculating mind tells me so. However, if we don't improve the talent level.........I could understand why he may bolt.
