Sorry but I've been chuckling my way through this whole thread.
I have to disagree with some on here. This isn't drama...its just life. I mean, seriously.... how many of us on here that HAVE lived with roommates haven;t had a crappy one? It's a learning experience...trial and error...as with alot of the stuff Ammo does. I, for one, find it entertaining and it reminds me of university days and the fun and tribulations of it.
Congrats Ammo... you lived through it. I would say, however, don't pursue this so much with Johnny Law. So this guy made some idle threats and set firecrackers outside your window. Going after him with the cops will just make a bad situation worse. After all, wouldn;t you just rather the whole thing be done with?

I actually find Ammo's tales quite funny and sad at the same time, but hey at least when he posts there is a good chance that a group of us laugh our asses off when reading his posts. His lies are not cool, but it is funny as hell he thinks they are. Basically he wanted us to feel sorry for him, and we do, unfortunately it has nothing to do with his roommate story, It's how he portrays himself on a regular basis.

As for his roommate, I bet he has just as many issues with Ammo as Ammo has with him, but the difference is that his roommate isn't hiding behind his back slandering him on a message board, which is the ultimate childish move. Plus only a handful of people care about this and this post could have been PM'ed to the 5 people who cared (if that many), but he felt the need to make it public, so now he has to face the responses from posters. If he didn't like some of the answers then he should have kept this tale to himself.
Oh and Ammo, I don't believe your story as a whole, not saying there isn't some truth to it, but I am sure your leaving out parts that would make you look foolish, since like I've been stating, there are 2 sides to every story, and I think your only giving a quarter of it.
Now go buy that 500 dollar phone you need to survive, since your such a poor college kid. 
I understand you now fletch. I reread all 200 posts and I see your point. You've been reasonable in your responses even if I and others don't agree with some or all of your points. Have you met the OP in real life?  Just sayin'.
I am new. I already like this board better than OBR--it's smaller but closer-knit, problems and all. Even a situation like this can be made better if the OP learns something from it.
If there are 15-year-olds on here that are acting mature or immature then I wouldn't notice--most of the people on this board are mature anyways. So far in my estimation.
Sometimes boards are useful--even for asking advice on OT things.
Personally, at this point, I would NOT go to the police. The defendant could get a lawyer and counteract any claims. Then it's a case of 'may the best lawyer win.'
Sorry for rambling. My mind works at 1,000 mph and I'm just trying to keep up.

How can you congratulate someone who put them self into this situation on their own? He made his bed and had to sleep in it. If he used any ounce of his under developed brain he would have been able to figure out that his roommate was trouble (which I doubt he was as bad as Ammo makes him out to be) and the plain fact is he didn't learn a damn thing from this supposed experience, because again, I doubt it went down exactly how Ammo made it out to be, but hey I guess in your world you congratulate people who screw up to begin with, and that right there is laughable and I really got a good chuckle out of that, so thanks for the laugh, I needed that today! Congrats Ammo for making a bad decision to begin with, yes that makes sense., now go treat yourself to some sissy alcoholic beverages, get hammered, drive drunk, and go treat yourself to a very expensive phone, you know because your such a poor college kid.

Ammo, Sounds like everything has pretty much worked itself out and you are able to move on. You will look back on the whole thing and laugh in a few years, so as Canada said, all this does is make for a good story Enjoy your summer back up North and go to some Thursday nite Tribe games (college nite, I think. I also noticed how he said that one roommate has been over due on his rent, but that was cool because they are buddies. If this guy sees that the friend isnt paying rent, then maybe he thinks he can get away with it. it does look like someone is trying to be on his high horse when he admits 2 roommates aint paying rent, in his parents hybrid condo, but the one guy that his buddies dont understand, gets kicked out and he makes a profit. If it is possible that you make a profit off of $300, then in my opinion, he wasnt too far behind on his rent. It sounds to me that the guy was misunderstood because he was bi-polar, maybe some other mental problem, or was one of those people that lie for attention. He wasnt your cup of tea, so hes the one not paying to get the boot. Of course your buddy thats not paying will say, "Yeah get rid of him, I dont like him either.Hes a horrible roommate" Takes the pressure of him not paying by making the non-friend roommate look bad. Looks like he might be playing you.
Last time I lived in an apartment, someone didnt get a notice on their door until they were 3 months over due. They were paying anywhere from $425 to $535 at the time. Multiply that by 3 months, thats $1275 to over $1500 they owed until they got the notice, not counting the 9 days a month late fees they could charge.. Even on the notice they were given 2 weeks to move out. The security deposit is only kept if there were damages, or to pay off the rent that wasnt paid.
Isnt there a state law that says you have to give someone a written notice and so much time before a tennant can be evicted?

That wasn't a roommate, that was a random guy on his 21st birthday.
And as far as my friend who's late on the utilities goes...like I said, I trust him. He even told me to take the difference out of the deposit, this way he'll not give up any money and actually receive money in return instead of having to fork over what he makes this weekend and live with no money until his next payday.
Like I said, he wasn't trying to screw me over, the other guy was. I don't screw people over who don't try to screw me over, I'm an honest man.
Wanna know how bad it was? The apartment managers hated him too! I can't make this stuff up!

He brought him up in his thread about West G football. I checked to see if he was just making crap up. He wasn't...except for when he said little Ammo knocked the starting QB out of the game. He was pulled because he was injured going into the game, and couldn't pass.

Who pays the loan on your vehicle? I pay my own insurance and gas as well but don't make it out to be a national crisis. Just about everybody does at your age, it's normal and please don't make a big deal out of it, especially since your getting off easy without having a car loan.

Wrong again Ammo. Not everyone gets drunk on their 21st birthday, so please don't show your ignorance saying such things as "Everyone does that" It's 100% false, because I know many of people who didn't get drunk on there 21st birthday, but your drinking problem started before then. In reality many people who turn 21 had more important issues going on in their lives and didn't have the time nor the desire to do something you think Everyone does, which as I stated is wrong, as is your thinking in this situation.
BTW I go to school full time and work full time, the difference between me and you is that I don't make it sound like I am the only person to accomplish such a feat, millions of people do it, and most don't have the luxury of having their parents cover the cost of their education like you do, so please spare me the poor old me routine, you got it great compared to allot of people in your age bracket, so you get no sympathy from me.

I got smashed on my 21st birthday, from what i'm told....My friends said I was out on the floor dancing with some old lady who was atleast 3x's my age which at the time was 21 so were talking 63.....LOL.....I do know I woke up in bed bye myself, and nothing has ever turned black or green and fallen off so hopefully thats all I did.....

Ammo makes his money and is entitled to spend it how pleases...on booze, on 500 dollar phones...whatever.
