During the winter.. plug up the outside exhaust to the dryer, put a womans panty hose or a cheesecloth over the end and let the dryer help heat up the house

Any lint caught up in the panty hose could really heat up the house if it caught fire .......

Back to the dryer thing,
Summer my cloth go on the cloths line outside to dry, Pants towels ect get tossed in the dryer for 2-3 minutes to soften up thats it, I used my dryer 20 minutes a month I bet.
Winter cloths get put on drying racks inside the house, I use my dryer alittle more in the winter, becuase of space, but probebly an hour a month and there is 4-5 people living there.

Actually at Ace hardware for like $16 you can buy a dryer exhaust lint trap kit for indoors Lint Trap Kit. It will catch the lint for you, and exhaust heat into the house, without having to plug up the outside vent, which is a fire hazard

I've stopped washing my clothes completely and just put them all straight in the dryer. They are dry in no time.

Find a house that doesn't have a water meter!  The place I'm moving into doesn't so they charge a flat rate. $42 a month for a three bedroom, 2 bath house with what I believe is 1.5 acres of land (if an old property listing I found online can be trusted). There is also a one time fee of 50 (pro-rated) for a summer watering fee. Not bad seeing as how you have to water every other day (watering restrictions plus the fact it is very dry here right now, thus the big fire I mentioned in the I-AA thread).

Don't know if this really saves on gas, but I've been told it does. When it's hot enough to have the AC on in your car, don't turn it on. Instead, turn your thermostat down to cold, and run your defroster. It is just as cold as the AC, and keeps ya cool.
Oh and save your dishwasher for special occasions, and hand wash your dishes.

I am not sure if this is every car or just Honda's, but when you turn on the defroster the a/c also turns on. Even in winter the a/c turns on to help with moisture even though the air that comes out is hot. I have read this a few places and I can hear it click on when I turn mine on.

It does on any car. The defrost turns on the ac compressor to remove humidity....fogging windows is more of a problem for most people outside Ohio.

Precisely. A/C, or defrost runs the "a/c" compressor.
