You assumed wrong bud, as a matter of fact though we do disagree on some issues, we also are close in age and grew up in basically the same hood, so we have similarity, because of where we are from, so I respect you. I don't have a problem with you dawg, I didn't want to mention the other person because I did not want to make this an angry conversation, but they know who they are, and that's cool, they can hate me, but I don't hate any member of this board.

Do I come off as an ass at times? yes, but damn it doesn't mean I am full of hate.

There are a lot of socially involved rappers. I can't think if that many off the top of my head, but they are there. Media doesn't sell it though as it doesn't sell papers.

Can't stand modern Rap music at all...but Common is amazing .

I actually dig Outkast's version of Bombs over Baghdad, when they did it with band called rage against the machine.

I know who Rage Against the Machine is...they've done several hip hop collaborations.

Listen to some of the others on that list...especially The Roots

That sounds about right concerning Rage, even if there songs are not hip hop collaboration, their normal style is hip hop "beatish", just done in a metal genre.

There are a lot of people who grew up in the 80's and listen to traditional hip hop that like Rage.

I hate what the radio calls rap...rapping is just one part of hip hop. And it's not done very well nowadays.
