I've never listened to Pat Dailey or understood the fascination with a lesser Jimmy Buffet knock-off just because he is "local" **.

Buffett, Yes I'm a parretthead...Love buffett. I love his songs, corney, funny he sings about a diffrent type of quiet warm drinking life many of us would love to live, it's a diffrent type of life many of us dont live. so his music takes us to a fun place a HAPPY PLACE so to speak.

Pat Daily...is just plan fun, if you have never seen him in person you really cant copmment on his music, totally diffrent in person, Pats music really isnt radio music it's live music, one has to have a cold beer in thier hand and wanna have some fun when listening to him.

The climb up the falls is great... The house was cool, but it's kinda like, seen one seen them all.

If you do the falls take your own water shoes. And be prepared to exit through a small maze of vendors who will hardsell everything, and get pissed off if you don't buy from them.

There's a group of anywhere from 10 to 30 of us get together every Sunday at the beach and it's definately reggae.........we've tried 'em all and reggae is the best background music for the beach. Marley and Snow being our favs...

(notice I said *background* music....you gotta hear the surf, mon)

Where I go to the beach, if I go at all, damn tourists, I setup in front of one of the beach bars, so I get their music, and drinks served to me.

If your from Ohio its gotta be stuff by Pat Dailey. He sings about Ohio and Lake Erie mostly Make sure you get my all time favrorite.

If someone is from Washington, do they have to like Nirvana or Pearl Jam?

Dude, Christy is from Ohio as far as I know. Pat Dailey is great on his serious stuff and his funny stuff. I 'm just making a sugestion same as you when you recomended "Rain drops keep falling on my head". Talk about lame. And Purp Dailey is better than Buffet as far as I'm concerned. Ray Fogg is pretty good too. Just because they are from Ohio doesn't mean you have to hate them.Oh and I've been to several Dailey shows and he never sings any Buffet songs. And I'll guarantee you FF he won't sing anyRain drops keep falling crap.

I just heard Steal My Sunshine on the way to work today, and thought it'd fit well in this thread.

Does he like butter tarts?
