Kasper's not young though...he'll be 31 in July and has already went down and played Arena for a season. I'm not sure who his agent is, but he probably was able to snooker the Browns into not paying out an injury settlement, and rather keeping him on IR.

It's hard to put a price on a neck injury.

What do you settle for to take on all future liability???

Probably cheaper for the Browns to continue to pay him whatever it is he makes and monitor his medical care until he is given a clean bill of health. If they are paying, they have access to the records. Cut him loose, you don't get that any longer.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Absolutely. Kasper's a vet, he knows the routine. He's not going to take $75K like some guy desperate to make a few bucks.

The stage is set for the bubble game Thursday. Then, Saturday down to 53 man roster.. IMO, I don't think there will be any major shocks..

go to www.clevelandbrowns.com to enter a contest regarding cutdowns.

They're giving fans a chance to win game tickets for picking the correct 53 man roster.

This is interesting......

Ravens exercise caution with Boller
Keep an eye on the shoulder injury with Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller.

When asked late yesterday afternoon if Boller's injury might be season ending, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said that it was unconfirmed, and he would know more by Friday morning.

Asked if he had started shopping around for another quarterback to replace Boller, Newsome said no, and he wouldn't do anything until he got the report on Boller.

Regardless, the injury sounds serious enough to make the Ravens use a lot of caution.

I wonder who's on the market ?????

Culpepper is still out there- he can't read a defense but his knee should be fully rehabbed by now... He is better then alot of second stringers out there. Could make a case he is better then either guy Chicago is concidering. My guess is he will be the first emergency QB signed.

just a general reply to the CB thing- If Law will come in at 4mil for this year, i'm all for it. It's a one year fix, his experience will make up for his declining talent. The interesting question at that point is who would be the starters? The top three look that much stronger. Manning Jr. may be an option, will see as he comes thru waivers, or is he an UFA at this point?
