i think the last two games the colts D wasn't really pressed through the air. tomorrow they will get spread out and the D won't look as "lights out", or maybe they will look like the lights are out.
tradition can only carry you so far, then you have to start winning again.

You need to go back and read my other responces here... you are overlooking much... The Browns are around 20 players away from where they need to be... Your opinions and points here are off base and unproven... IMO
What change is the injuries on the Colts D... Front seven injuries, D-Line and LB's to be specific... The Colts are healthy up front... Plus BS in back in their lineup as mentioned... And BS is a huge part of run support in that D...
The Browns have many issues... As I said earlier here; no identity and maybe 10 players that could/would make and play on any other NFL team... 4 of those 10 are on ST's...
Critical areas of improvemnet are @ D-Line, LB and in the secondary on D... As I previously mentioned... No shut down corner and little quality proven depth... I don't see what you like or see what your seeing. Wimbley can play and should be a good one, DJ has the nose, PO but is undersized, Williams showed some flashes but the rest of them are mediocre to below average at best and are old and or out of gas. D-Line needs every position replaced and upgraded... Roye would be a nice back up but his tank is @ about 3/8 full too... No OB, one RB who needs spelled and won't hold up behind and embarrassment of an NFL quality O-Line. Which needs at some point to have 5-7 statrer quality guys to compete for each position... Not one or 2 decent guys, a few has beens and some young reaches to try and build and O-Line from... That is and has been a travesty since 1999... This is all I have time for now... Later...

20 14 or 15 players I'll give you but 20 I wouldn't go that far bro.

Fair enough man... Hope this truly finds you well! Would you mind doing me a favor? Please name the guys on the roster now that you would absolutly not upgrade or replace. You seem to feel that there are 38 quality starter and or players that can challenge for starting positions, (quality depth) on the Browns roster right now. If it is easier for you, just name the 15 guys you feel should be upgraded or replaced. Hope to talk to you soon... Take care, hang in and enjoy!

I don't have time to list everybody on the roster right now. However with 5 new O-lineman and 5 new D-lineman (betwen starters and backups) 1 outside LB'er, 1 CB, 1 QB, 1 RB, and 1 WR I think we could compete with anybody in the league.

Glad to see you expand your thoughts past O-line.... I don't know that we need 5 Olineman.....but 3 seems reasonable...that assumes we sign Fraley...the rest of the list looks pretty solid.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Hey I have been saying )-line, and D-line all along and we need them FIRST. I still want a new starting LT Fraley re-signed Bentley back Tucker back and three more O-lineman Kick Coleman, Druzzi, Dorsey, Butler, and Smith to the curb

This is your first post in this topic. No, I have not read all of the other posts/topics.
I am not one that adorns the brown and orange goggles. I predicted 7-9 as a 'good season' for the Browns in 2006. I think 8-8 is the low bar for keeping RAC beyond 2007.
FWIW, Ray Mickens played well for the Patriots yesterday. Pete Hunter started for the Seahawks in the playoffs. Are Mickens and Hunter the kind of depth the Browns lack?
Very few teams have the depth you desire.
