for all those transplants like myself, anyone who has nbatv will be able to watch the cavs make a little history tommorrow night against toronto...

the nba does an awesome little thing where the fans can vote on the game to be shown every week...

with that said, the two cavaliers should break team records tomorrow night, z needs i think 4 boards, and lebron needs a steal or two...

i find it funny because i think lebron broke the all time scoring record last year against toronto, so maybe it's fate... chris bosh, again will see the crowd rise and give a great ovation to 2 of our guys... maybe it will make him realize there are no fans better than cleveland fans.

You're right, Z needs four boards, and Lebron is currently tied with Mark Price for steals. If we can win by 12 we'll set an NBA record for consecutive victories by at least 12 points.

all kinds of history...

although i just want our 9th straight...

i don't wanna get to ahead of things, but how awesome would it be to have the cavs be undefeated at home when boston comes rolling into town on january 9th...

can't wait, friday night espn game, a chance to silence some of these idiotic analysts who care more about 2010 then 2008.

Looking at our schedule, its tough but very possible. Toronto, Philly, Houston Washington, Miami, Chicago, and Charlotte at home before the Celts come to town. Houston is after a 4-game road trip, but it has no back-to-backs so thats a plus. In fact, just two back-to-backs between now and the Celtics game, and they're both in the next 7 days. If they continue to play defense the way they have been, none of these teams frighten me.

This team has me all sorts of pumped up.

And how bout that 5 1/2 game lead we've built on Detroit...If Detroit keeps up with a near equal point differential they'll be lucky to finish 10 over 500...We might just have the Division wrapped up by April 1st...Hell...Mid March...lol...

Speaking of point diff...+13.3???...#1 in the league...And 90.2 defensively...#1 in the league...When u have that kind of diff...You're gonna win 8 of 10 consistently...A refreshed Wallace is a huge difference...And letting Williams run most of this offense is creating everything...

What a start thru 20 games...Outstanding...

Note to Dayton Fans---TWC has a FSN-HD Channel now...768...The Guide may say HD PROMO but check the channel for the game even if it doesn't say the game is on via the guide...Seen 1 or 2 in the last 2 weeks on this channel...If it's not then we still have 29 if it's on FSN...Also if not on FSN...Always check Channel 99...

also tied for #1 in the league with boston for field goal % against. which is the top defensive stat in my mind.

the cavs point ppg against would be even better if they weren't blowing out teams, because they empty their bench in the 4th and their bench is playing against usually the starters...

still, we have the best defense in the league, bar none.

That's the best part! We're getting the bench some reps, and keeping our starters healthy and rested. I'd like to see a guy like Hickson grow to be a major piece in the future ... and these 30 minute or less games for Lebron, are going to really help come April, May and June.

i think it has already payed dividends when we're doing back to backs, as well as 4 in 5...

the whole team is energized... it's not just lbj's minutes, the whole starting 5 is getting rest...

... and the bench five are getting reps and experience. That's huge. This team is deep. We no longer have to fear those days where we would hope that a 4 point lead wouldn't turn into a 10 point deficit while LeBron was on the bench.

This teams is such a breath of fresh air. Finally a team living up to it's expectations.

We opened a really nice 19 point lead early in the 2nd quarter tonight only to watch it dwindle down to 8. Looks like LBJ and Z got their records already though!

Are you watching it online? I tried the P2P site but they don't have it streaming anywhere.

its looking this way...this team is so put together right now...i'd be scared to make a trade and screw up chemistry..but you think they aren't going to let those contracts expire without getting something

that's what puts danny ferry in such a great position... he doesn't have to make a move... and he most definitely doesn't have to make a desperate move that could hinder our future, financially...

right now, you have to believe that ferry won't make the move... things can always change, but as of now, we're golden.

nbatv just put together a package highlight for tonight's game, and it's freaking amazing... the dunks, the passing, the shooting, WOW

WOW is the only way to put it. This team is GREAT. We put on a stealing/dunking clinic. Plus we're now the only team ever to win by a 12 point margin 9 games in a row. Awesome.

These guys are playing some of the best basketball I have ever seen.

Tonight's game saw them blow a lead ..... get a bunch of BS calls ...... go into the locker room and just storm the court to run the Raptors right out of the building in the 3rd.

I almost hate to think it ..... but there's somethig special brewing in Cleveland.

By the way .... we don't "have to" trade our expiring contracts. There very well might be a piece we have our eyes on after the season who would fit well within our own open cap space. This team really doesn't need a lot at this point. Everyone is contributing, and the young subs are getting valuable playing time and experience. (and they aren't losing leads ... no matter who the oposition puts on the floor against them)

SportsCenter didn't have a whole lot to say about the game other than all of Lebron's dunks. They did point out that the last two teams that won eight straight by 12 or more wound up winning the NBA Finals.

More history anyone?

The Cavs have won each of their last four games by 20-or more points. That leaves them one shy of the NBA single-season record for such a streak, five games, a mark currently shared by the 1977-78 Trail Blazers and the 1970-71 Bucks.

Its amazing that this is a Cleveland sports team... its a thing of beauty

Now, Danny can wait to the end of the deadline on February 19th to make sure he gets the best offer for our expirings. There is no need to make a move out of desperation. The value of those deals is going up, and I'm sure it will continue.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but Boobie sprained his big toe in the first half last nite. Per WIndhorst, this is the same injury he had his rookie season. He ended up trying to play on it too early, and subsequently missed an extra two weeks. Cavs will probably be very cautious and make sure he is at 100% before his return. He is getting an MRI today and did not make the trip to Philly for tonites game...

With that said, I would assume Sasha is now going to get more minutes.

Now, moving to tonite. Philly has not played sinceóSaturday, so they are gonna have the fresh legs. With that said, they do not have a signature win this season yet (unless you count beating Detroit), so you can bet they are gonna give it a run tonite. Other than Detroit, they have definitely been the biggest disappointment in the East so far. They need a W against a quality opponent to get their confidence going. Elton Brand is listed as Day to Day, so I would assume he will be ready to go tonite.

Any win on the road is good, so let's get it done tonite!

What the Cavs are doing/have done is simply a real breath of fresh air for Cleveland sports fans; I hope the aura carries over to the Tribe, then on through our next football season with new regime leadership. I am really very proud of LeBron for sticking this out and providing the impetus, him being an Ohio boy and all,....it's a nice ride.

They look unstoppable.

Man ... check out the highlight real from last night:

http://www.nba.com/video/games/cavaliers...player=whatsnew

They are just playing so well! The best part of those highlights was probably the Mo Williams behind the back pass to Sasha, followed up with a no look dump to Andy for an easy lay-in.
