I went to Buffalo for the game. We were walking down a street in downtown Buffalo around 1:00 pm yesterday looking for some food before we went tailgating and I see this guy walking in the opposite direction. It was like 30 degrees but he was wearing shorts and sandals with a hooded sweatshirt trying to cover his face. I looked right at him and he looked at me (we were all wearing Browns gear of course) and I didn't realize it till he walked by, but it was Derek Anderson. I asked my buddies if they noticed, but they weren't paying attention. My buddy yelled "DA" and he turned around. I think he went to a Starbucks...

Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

J/C...

Met Pete Rose in Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, go figure.

This past Saturday night, I met Danny O'Rourke of the Columbus Crew at a bar I frequent. Shook his hand, told him congratulations and good luck. Then on Sunday, I had a roller hockey game, and apparently, I had just missed Blue Jacket's coach, Ken Hitchcock. He was there watching a relative play floor hockey.

I guess I didn't meet Hitch, but my dream of being discovered as a 30 year old NHL rookie took a hit.

Met Ryan Tucker at a local watering hole in Westlake last Friday. Interaction was brief as he was at the bar ordering some beers, we asked if he was resigning next year, to which he mentioned he had one year left on his contract, and said he was just "banged up" this year. Cordial guy then got his Mich Ultra's and sat wife his wife at a table.
