So how much do you make? Enough to live comfortably, invest what I need to in my 401K, and still have my own "rainy day account" at a nice amount.
how much better are you than others because of this? Never would consider myself better than anyone else, but I am fortunate to have a great job, great employees & work for a great employer who prides themselves in their leadership programs and employees.
how greedy are the people that make more than you? I see many people on a daily basis that make more than me. Many who could afford to buy anything the want are also the ones that will come in just to take a "free" or a shower at the fitness center just to cut down on the soap/shampoo expense at their own house, and would rather use our free single blade .11 cent razors rather than get multiple good shaves out of a (pick one). These are then the same people that bitch about wanting better/more amenities. Every person can judge how they wish to balance their money and life, but if you have the money to spend on decent/quality items, I often find it bizarre that people go the cheapest route possible, then bitch about it.
How dumb are the people that dont agree you? Not dumb at all. Very smart, or they wouldn't have gotten to where they're at.
Are you a grasshopper or an ant? Ant - I love what I do and will stay with a job/industry until I cannot any further.

I don't honestly know. I have to wait for the accountant to let me know. I do know that anybody who makes less than I do is a lazy good for nothing slug that deserves to be exploited. Hey it's not my fault that they didn't do better in life. If they had worked harder they could afford a doctor and medicine when they're sick. I can't believe those miserable loafers want me to pay 2% more in taxes. Why should I stiffel my art and wine collections just so some pitiful excuse for a human being will have care when they need it. Those socialist bast..ds! Can you believe the nerve of some people? The people I hire know they will be replaced if I can find someone more desperate than they are. After all I have a duty to my shareholders. I'd like to chat further but I'm late for church.

Just a wild guess. But I'd say that was either your wife or kids trying to butter you up for something!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Lazy huh? Well I'm sorry that I fall under your ANYBODY plan. Since I'm apparently the only one on here who can disclose what they actually make. Unless you are also making very little, I highly doubt you are below me.
I'll try to remember just how lazy I am next time I repel from 70' down to about 60' to fix a rigging problem. I've got news for you, fixing some rigging on something that weighs 500 lbs is not easy. I've seen riggers get fired on the spot for just dropping one small little washer. Why is that? Because rigging kills, it's hard work but is something that has to be done to maintain safety. The entertainment industry is the only place where you can hang over 1 ton in gear temporarily and expect even the general public to walk under it.
I'll also remember that next time I'm doing a power tie in. I work with voltages and amperage's that can kill you in a split second. To say that is an easy job is also insane. It's good to hear that I'm good for nothing. I hope you don't go to any concerts because clearly those aren't important to you. I better just call NIN right now and tell them that their crazy setup just can't happen. You see, with as much power as we have in our building, we still don't have enough for their rig. We have to rent over 400 amps worth in generators just to run anything. We've run large concerts such as Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood just last night (country concerts are always HUGE because they make a lot of money), Blue Man Group, Elton John, etc etc with no problems. The only other time we ran out of power was The Rolling Stones which is the largest tour rig in history.
However, all of this is clearly easy work that anyone can do since I make less money than you. And I haven't touched on the level of things I handle on a daily basis at height. This is only a small sample of what I do every single day. Peoples lives always depend on the hope that I don't drop something

Con, I fervently hope that the next time you are repelling into a dangerous situation or are about to do a tie-in that you are not thinking about this thread... because if you are, there is a chance, that you might just realize at the most inopportune time which calls for the utmost in focus and concentration, that he was joking. Then you might start laughing at your rant and drop a washer or hurt somebody.... and nobody wants that.

Con Artist, meet Sarcasm. Sarcasm, meet Con Artist. There, now you've been properly introduced.

Often times sarcasm is tough to detect on a message board. Illegalmoe's post was NOT one of those times though.

There are these little things below called faces below that help enhance sarcasm. There is nothing in that post that blatantly points out sarcasm and there are tons of people out there in the real world who truly believe what he said...and I do know several people like that. If treading into sarcasm when talking about something that a lot of people truly believe, perhaps you should make it a bit more obvious. Otherwise you are just putting yourself in those same shoes.

Kinda hard to have a bad day when you have a lengthy conversation with someone like Carrie Underwood

What if you pay to work? As in you're working but making negative money? Does that classify me as making the least!

Nah, don't tell NIN that....tell them to get your Down Under living homedawg Riddler backstage at next years' Soundwave Festival in Melbourne,
Me? I'm skint right now.
The company i'd been working for the last 3 yrs went into Voluntary Admin recently and the Training division was sold off. New mob wanted to employ me as a contractor which i declined. All severance pay is tied up in the company so haven't been paid a bean by them since October 15th.
Scored a job with a mate as a QA Tester for Video Games in the interim but it's a $300 a week pay cut after stoppages which i won't sustain for long....particularly at this time of year.
Got a few irons in the fire (probably in the new year) and hopefully should be able to get me dosh out of the defunct mob around the 12th Dec.
As for me, same person as i ever was regardless of income but we would all like to be millionaires. would it bring happiness? Not in itself but it would make happiness easier to come by i reckon.
