Not a liquor person at all. I enjoy my beer here and there, but never really was big on liquor. In my college days I would do a little when I go out, but I have a bar in the basement and have taken 1 shot in two years since I've had it built, and that was for New Years last year. Why the heck are we talking about liquor anyways.

Me too. My wife and I will eat our usual Mongolian Three Star and watch a rented movie, then I will say "lets go out"...she will say "no, you can".....I will say, "Ok....if you are sure Honey  " Then hit the honky-tonk a few miles away and sing a few country tunes to the karaoke. Can only have two...can't be driving around drunk....been thinking about having a cab come pick me up

Ditto to what you and everybody else has said. Finding this board is like finding home again. And I'l take 123's spelling over the other boards babble anyday. People here are coherent, self-governing, friendly, intelligent, have great insight, etc..... What I am trying to say, is "thank you" to all those who have made this board possible once again.

Hey, after that place went down the drain, it's just great to see an "adult" browns site. And I'll take the "suck up" part, I've been called a lot worse before. On this board, I'll be called a lot worse again. Thanks though.

I guess this is as best of a place to tag along! I am SOOO happy to find this place! I can't recall the tread, but on the new board, someone posted a link here and when I clicked and saw all of the old familiar names, fonts and color schemes, I stood up and shouted my joy. Luckily for me, I was alone at work. I truly wish that I had known this board was here all along. I missed reading intelligent, well thought out posts, and it is true that the new board has fallen into irrepairable despair. It is full of trolls and people who do nothing but bash the Browns and the coaches, FO, ownership and every decision they make. This to me is like running into a long lost friend somewhere. I am soo happy right now. Glad to be back and hopefully, I can contribute to the BEST message board in the BIZ!

Thanks for hosting and paying for this purple. The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't find this back in september and that I was like 200 posts away from Hall of Famer Status on the original Dawg Talk.
Its weird, I used to get sick of the black background and orange text with the original Dawg Talk, but when I got that "mysterious PM" that this board existed and I came here for the first time, I realized how much I missed and loved everything about the Original Dawg Talk. Like others have said, I'm home again, I can finally post things here. I was apprehensive to post anything intelligent at the new board because I knew the people reading it would A. not understand it or B. say something ignorant.
Thanks again to any and everone who had a hand in this, this made my week!
Can't wait to start contributing to an actual fan community again.

I'd like to give a thanks to you for bringin this board back. I dont post alot, but I enjoy reading everyone's opinons and insights (for the most part). While I've learned a TON about the game (my friends are amazed with what I can pick out while watching football), I just dont have alot to contribute compared to the more knowledgable folk, so why clutter up pure football? I post in tailgate occaisionally though. Whoever puts the work into maintaining this board, you guys deserve a huge thanks.

I was at the old board afte 'the change' and got desperate REALLY fast. I only saw a few names that I recognized, so I PM'ed one of the Old Regulars. He hooked me up here... and I agree- it feels like Home. That Other Place felt like a total DMZ within 2 or 3 weeks.
I just went back there yesterday, for the first time in months. I stayed 10 minutes.
Damn. There goes 10 minutes I'll never get back.
Glad to see you again, tasty. Believe me- it won't take long before you delete That Other Place from your bookmarks...

I had no idea this board existed. I just switched back from the new board which is a joke. Thanks to whoever brought this back. It's nice to go on a Browns board and see Browns football topics in Pure Football rather than the "My favorite color is blue" posts which seem to be all that's left.
