Yep, absolutely. I think the big thing right now is we need to keep going the hole. Both teams are on the 2nd nite of a back to back. Legs are gonna start getting tired in the second half on contested jumpers..
NEED to be the aggressor and get in the paint to create. If we can be the aggressor, we can hang around and let LB take over at the end.
LB really did a great job in that quarter...

ben and andy should never be on the floor together at the same time...horrible substitutions by brown that half..second half they need to get their head out of their fourth point of contact and stop with this dribble dribble shoot from 20ft crap

Look man, this is gonna be a battle without Z. Ben and AV are gonna be the starters until Z gets back, as that is our best option..
The real problem with this game has been the lack of offensive ball movement, which you mentioned. Delonte has been in a bit of a shooting slump, so that makes it even tougher. The other problem has been the bad rebounding and lack of loose balls that we have got. Atlanta is winning the hustle game. We need to win an ugly game, which is possible, if we can keep it close going into the fourth.. Keep in mind we are REALLY missing Boobie tonite as well. They have been throwing two guys at LB at the top of the key. A team can't get away with that when you have Boobie out their sitting on the opposite wing...

One thing that seems different than years past, the entire bench has been standing up the past 3 or 4 minutes of the game. Bench is really cheering this group on.. Effort is there, just gotta try and get it to 5 or 6 for the 4th quarter...

Yeah, refs are totally jobbing the Cavs tonight. They can't D up a man without getting whistled for a foul, and the FT disparity shows this. The tech on Lebron was garbage, as was the phantom timeout they awarded to Atlanta.
We can still win this though.

that was an extremely dumb shot by lebron... they are fouling him every time he drives to the hoop, why on earth would you take a 3 like that...

wasn't our game..sucks because now we fall farther behind boston..but with Z and boobie this is probably a 15 point win for us..andy/ben are that bad offensively and we let bibby abuse our guards tonight

This game has been a joke. Horford's "amazing back tap" wouldn't have happened if he wasn't all over Andy's back when Andy had position on him.
Nice play by Josh Smith on that block on Delonte, but I could've done without him hitting Delonte in the face with the off hand.

J/C..
Not gonna analyze this too much as you guys are hittin on a lot of it, but I will say this...
1) I think part of the problem tonite was that we have not played a lot of really close games this year. This may be a blessing in disguise. Like LB said, no way should have LBJ have pulled up for that 3 early in the clock down by 2... Also, why the hell were we switching on the Joe Johnson pick and rolls? I don't get that at all...
2) Wally has been horrific. HORRIFIC. I know his Dad just had the heart surgery, but if he isn't right mentally, he needs to tell Coach Brown, and the minutes can be given to someone else... He is 0-9 from 3 the last 2 nites. 4 or 5 of those 3's have been WIDE open. His job is to make 3's and he is not getting it done.

Just putting this out there. Dikembe Mutombos agent said that Mutoumbo will agree to sign with a team after Dec. 25. He would be a beast to add in a 4 man front court rotation, or insurance if someone gets hurt.
I saw a trade talk that involved Shawn Marion for Varajon and Wally. Marions contract would be done at the end of the year. At first I didnt want to lose Andy. But if they could bring in Mutumbo, it would definately be worth a looksy. As of now, I wouldnt mess with a good thing. But bringing in Mutumbo, would let Z get alot more rest. It would also keep him out of Boston or LA. I would rather have him then have a top tier team have him against Z in the playoffs. Boston only has Perkins as their starting center. But I would be real worried if they had Mutombo fighting Z and Wallace for rebounds. He also has sharp elbows that meets a defenders nose aka Karl Malone.

as long as he keeps his elbows away from the rest of the team

We were playing some of the best ball of the season for about 3/4ths of the 1st half. I think Lebron came back a little cold, and Carmelo got a little under his skin. We're still up by a bunch, but we were up by 20 at one point (with Lebron on the bench too).

Whoever is calling this game for ESPN is talking like the Nuggets are up by 20. Its kind of weak.

Nice job by the Cavs running the Nuggets right out of their own building. It's also amazing that this team can suddenly pass and move .... instead of standing around watching Lebron. (like much of last year) They actually look like an NBA offense. Their defense has been nothing short of incredible as well.

eh. a win is a win. especially with the cavs, their only problem over the past few years was not beating the teams they are supposed to beat.
yes, all the boston fans and nba bloggers/messageboarders are saying the cavs are beating up on inferior talent, but if you look at the winning percentage of the teams both the cavs and boston are playing, they're both about equal, right around 48/49%...
i think some people in the media have a problem with the cavs winning... someone like maybe say... tim legler? 47 wins, tim? we're almost halfway there and it's freaking december, dude.

I really despise Tim Legler...he's a hack who could barely sustain his own career...now he's an "expert"...please.
I love Hubie Brown, however...he's the only analyst that will tell it for what it is. There are two people on ESPN that like the Cavs...Hubie, and Stuart Scott.
