I just sat down with my new Cool Channel Platform for my laptop (from daughter) and am listening to Christmas music on my new Altec Lansing iPod docking station (siter in-law, she pulled my name out of the hat this past Thanksgiving).

Every year I give my son and 2 nephews (and myself ) football cards (usually Topps but this year some Upper Deck packs too). Well, my nephew Zachary walks up to me and says "Here Uncle Al" and hands me a Lou Groza football card (Topps). There is no smiley icon that could express my reaction!
My son got a Braylon Edwards card that he says I can have. I haven't seen it yet. Perhaps he dropped it.

So...whadya get?!

Shirts and ties, some new pillows, running shoes, fine bourbon - Old Pogue & Blantons, cologne, a wok, mom made me a browns fleece quilt for the cold tailgates, and some airline credit which will be used for the Browns game in Denver for next year.

Let's see. I got....

Authentic Josh Cribbs pro-bowl jersey (who cares if he didn't make it this year, I've wanted one forever).

Mitchell & Ness throwback Jim Brown jersey.

Hotel and travel and tickets (when they go on sale) to Boston this summer to see a Red Sox game in Boston.

Then just a bunch of little things, clothes, an electric razor, etc.

well, you, me and the rest of us know that he's the best special team's player in the league. always a threat to take it back the distance...and most likely to make the tackle on coverage.

my son came accross with the BE card. he's making a leaping one handed catch over Jets defender #24. Oh, and son also got me the Cream reunion concert dvd at Royal Albert Hall in 2005 (gotta watch that one pretty soon)

A Browns jacket and two Home Depot gift cards.
Going to the Depot tomorrow to buy a mitre saw and some paint.

Time to do the living room!
Should I use the Browns coat as a tarp when I paint to protect my floors?

Just kidding, just kidding!

I got a white authentic Joe Thomas jersey to go with it's brown counterpart. I got a nice browns t-shirt and browns pajamas. I got a headset and keyboard for my PS3 along with COD5. I got some cologne and a North Face jacket. And the surprise was an electric razer. Apparently my parents think I'll be needing it soon.

My favorite thing was my mom's reaction when she read the poem I wrote for her. This is the first time where I've actually experience that it is better to give than to receive.

Though I have to admit I am pretty jealous of my friend who got front row ACDC tickets and backstage passes. [color]

You know that Mastercard commercial where the wife looks around the room and decided to go shopping for stuff to redecorate.. When complete, she looks around and decides that it's still not right.... Then she goes out and buys her lazy butt husband a new wardrobe..... Yup,, there you go,, practically an entire new wardrobe...

Of course, once the word gets out, Mom gets me more clothing, so did Mom in law and sister and brother... I'm guessing I must have been sending out a bad message with my old wardrobe cause it's now in the garbage

Tons of clothes as always- had to go and throw out a bunch last night to make room.

Browns related- I got a long sleeve T, pajamas, a mug, and a sweet locker picture with Edwards, Quinn, and Winslow's jersey sitting along side my jersey with my name on it. Pretty cool I thought. Also got the DVD "History of the Browns."

I also received a calendar with my daughter's picture in it for each month, an MP3 player with buds, clothes, new computer chair, a cool gift my mom made using my daughter's footprint, movies, pair of K Swiss, BBQ tools and grill cover, and Cavs tickets to the Pistons game in February. Got a bunch of other stuff, but too much to remember and go on about.

Silver cross Browns pen and pencil set

I did not know that AT Cross made those. I'm gonna have to look harder.

I also got a set of Browns coasters and a Browns fleece pullover (reversabel) that's too small.

The hubby and I got our TV, TV stand and Wii for each other this year. From others: I got some decor things from my nephew, cash, and a camcorder (is that what they call them these days?).

Anna got lots of toys, a set of bibs from my nephew, a couple of outfits, little flip out sofa for watching tv on and napping, and she got this adorable little stuffed Princeton Tiger and Princeton hat from her Aunt Cara and Uncle Aaron!

Yes I do. My mother-in-law is a steelers fan. I make sure they triple bag everything I buy her, so that nobody will see me walking through the mall with it

BTW I always put her present in a BROWNS BAG, and one of these days I'm going to find Browns wrapping paper

A guy from work "busted" me at the mall while I was shopping. He said "Aha, coming over to the dark side eh, come to your senses eh?"

Then he laughed about how he had called off work that day, and asked me to not divulge that I had seen him. I said no problem, but on the flip side you didn't see me in the Stillers section....

I got the DC comics illustrated novel of The Watchmen. I am over 50, have collected cpmics, and this is a BIG-TIME winner. I am loving it. Easily the best graphic novel I have read, and the writing is good. My wife gave me this and I have thanked her as often as possible!
whaddya get?

My niece is a Steelers fan, I was at the store and was looking at a Steelers hoodie for her. I picked it up and started to vomit in my mouth. I love her dearly but just couldnt do it. I bought her a Rootstown Rovers hoodie instead. Made me much happier to support our local team rather than the Steelers.
