Eh, I dunno that seemed kind of ignorant and immature to me.

Maualuga just lost a couple of class points in my book.

But I could just be over-reacting.

I don't think you are over reacting. I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't see the humor in it. Seems kinda classless to me

The guy was just having fun, no harm was meant by it.

Who are you people? Classless? Give me a BREAK. Jeez. Some of you people on here are WAY too uptight.

Just IMO.

I use to do that stuff in the club and bars, when the girl wasn't looking... lol.. I think its just funny. No harm intended.

I don't think you can judge a guys character off of something like this.

I only say this because his character ha been called into question in the past and I thought that he has matured a little bit. This video kind of dissapoints me.

Interesting, the swings from way left and way right.

One needs to ask themselves, would Maualuga appreciate being treated this way by Andrews were she to pull some unprofessional stunt behind his back; leak a story, or some sordid detail to a prospective scout without his knowledge.

One needs to ask themselves, how would they feel if Maualuga did this to their Mom or sister.

Funny or entertaining while in the National spotlight comes with a degree of respect and decorum that many younger people in our country are not taught. That's what discourages me.

I take the "uptight" label. I know how to respect a woman, and that wasn't it.

When Erin Andrews tells me it was OK, then I'll back off.

It was kind of childish.. that's what makes it fun.

Don't some of you ever do anything goofy just because it's fun?

I swear some of you are so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up your... sorry, Ferris Buehler moment.

I didn't find it classless or offensive or anything like that, but I don't understand what the big deal is. Meaning I didn't think it was really funny at all.

For me, it's not a big deal.. it's just a spontaneous little moment that was humerous... in a week, I'm sure I will have forgotten it (unless this thread is on page 8 with people debating it. )

And for the record, Curry is a better dancer too.

Kind of reminded me of the interview with Shaq where he was making kissy faces behind the reporter.

I can understand why people wouldn't think it's funny....and I can understand why some people would laugh. I just thought it was something too "frat" to do as a public figure. Oh well...nothing wrong with seeing Erin Andrews in another video though.

And btw, this thread needs more pictures of the aforementioned reporter.

It would get him fired in the business world and fined at the next level.

Bad judgement.

In the business world?

Fighting your competition would get you fired in the business world, and fined/ jailed.

Its okay though in the sport of hockey.

He didn't touch her in any way, shape, or form...just a little shimmy-shimmy for fun's sake, who an incredibly gorgeous reporter (whom I will refrain from posting pics of for fear of banishment ).

Don't know what it is about this new year, but some people need to pull the plugs out of their rears. I'd like to reference this thread in April, as he should be there with the 5th pick, and I wonder if people will change their minds.

Ever listen to our hero Bernie on the Rizzo show in the mornings talk about his dating life and the ladies? It could be argued that he goes farther into details on live air than this little dance.

Everyone needs to understand what i'm saying.

If any of you knew me personally you would know I am the FARTHEST from uptight, and have done things of this nature myself but i'm not in the spotlight waiting to get drafted.

My point is that the guy is in the national spotlight and already has serious questions about his character stemming from him punching some dude in the face at a party a few years ago and getting arrested. (I think there is something else but I can't remember.)

His maturity has been questioned in the past and being a few months away from being drafted now was definately not the time to dance behind a national reporter.

If you guy's don't question it I can guarantee you owners and Gm's aroudn the league will call it "childish". And this is coming from someone who actually likes the guy.

I get what you are saying and I think most people do.

I still don't think this should be a big deal at all in regards to his "character issues". It might cause some GM's to look the other way if they are uptight like some others on this board but I do not believe it will have much of an impact on where he goes in the draft.

That being said, I'm on the Curry bandwagon. Rey didn't show me anything in the Rose bowl.

totally uncalled for....he embarrassed himself, his family, the university...not to mention the reporter. Thats really the issue.....

There is an unwritten rule, a code of conduct if you will, not to do something like that. You have to maintain a level of professionalism. He wouldnt go up to the president of the university (if she was female) and do something like that would he?

Showing respect to someone is "being uptight"?

Ray just showed the epitome of what is wrong with this country - aside from the fact this country is financially broke beyond belief.

If he can't show respect to others, he should get none shown to him. There's this little thing called class. He apparently doesn't have it. If he's some stud wanting to strut his stuff, and he doesn't care about respecting people, I want nothing to do with him being a Brown. jmho.

As long as he is obedient, I don't care how much class the guy has.

I bet he won't fly a helicopter to the USC/ UCLA game next year when he coach tells him he needs to be getting ready for Sunday, and not Saturdays.

Yeah, the "if it feels good do it" attitude. The "it works for me so screw you attitude.".

You may disagree, but rolling on the floor laughing is stupid. Forgive me if I'm "old school" in your mind. Old school as is respect others until they haven't respected you. Old school as in "you ain't all that".

Old school as in women should be respected, not treated as objects.

If that makes you roll on the floor laughing I can't help you. If showing a lack of respect is something you condone, fine. Class. Some have it, some don't. Respect. Some know what it is, some don't.
